pictured here, grunt and roach enjoy some of the colony's own brew in the evening after a long day's work. life on the rim is simple, but friends and drink are simple pleasures.

grunt is 17 and was born in the colony. he's kind and tough, having lived a short life of struggle, but he enjoys constructing things and seeing the colony - his home - get that little bit bigger and stronger.

roach is in her 60s. as a child she was a medieval slave but rose out of her slavery to become a civil servant in the kingdom. she's smart and loves to chat, with a fiery passion for art that her life has not afforded her the opportunity to pursue (skill 4). i'm hoping i can get her doing some of that work soon, she deserves a nice old age.
