I read somewhere that from the previous animals, the artic wolf seems to be the best hauler, but they also seem a bit squishy compared to bears (I'm not sure if I was unlucky, but my first artic wolf lost its tail, one leg and got scarred from just one stab from some lvl 4 melee raider with a poor knife), meanwhile bears seem a bit more tanky, and seem to carry more (but I didn't compare their movement speed, and also eat a bit more than double than wolves, make double dirt, but live twice than them too)

You can tell by looking at the relations. In my screenshot, the Empire and the Trader's Guild (from Odyssey) are neutral. Due to ideological reasons, my Empire is pre-disposed to like me less (with a natural goodwill of -10, or a range from -60 to +40) than the trader guild (average 0, range -50 to +50).

The neanderthal tribe hates me, but can still be befriended despite the negative relations penalty of -130 (range clamped to -100 to -80). I can befriend them, but they will break allyship and eventually flip hostile if not constantly appeased.

The Impid tribe, Yttakin pirates and Waster pirate factions all are permanent hostiles and can never be befriended, and do not list a relationship value, just "Hostile". Unlike the neanderthals, I cannot woo them with shinies and trinkets beyond their wildest comprehension.

When the game decides to send a raid, it'll figure out who is capable of raiding you. It'll choose between any hostile human faction (including Anomaly's cultists) and mechanoids. I think underground insect hive spawns and Anomaly entities also count as "raids", and possibly some other types of event (manhunters?) too.

Yes that's my point? It is important that have a grenade launcher and a pistol shoot diffrent ammo because, that makes the grenade launcher more expensive to use. Crafting recipes for explosives costs fsx and usually cost components, while normal bullets only want steel and in lesser quantities.

Who researches advanced ammunition? Pulse charged weapons are right across. Advanced ammunition (since 1.5) are only more complex in name. All guns except the shotguns and pulse weapons have a bullet for a soft target, a normal bullet, and one for armored targets. Then by researching advanced ammunitions you get the exact same trio but better.

I usually just keep it at default surpress level. But you can probably go higher without much risk because if you're ever in a position where you can't surpress it you probably already lost anyway.
