Dropped out of college two years in and have been doing shitty retail and driving jobs since. I'm an optimist at heart and kind of believed that something good's gonna eventually come my way while putting in zero effort to better my situation. Having friends and the very occasional gf helped block the feelings of doom but you just wake up one days and realize "Oh I'm actually gonna be doing this until I die at 46 from colon cancer."
