At least someone appreciates that we aren't all light / rice beers, hell Dogfish Brewery went a bit crazy for a while and was using historians, Microbioligists, and ancient pottery to figure out and produce ancient beers / drinks from Midas Touch (pottery vessels found in his tomb 2700 years old) and Namaste to about as recent as Thomas Jefferson / George Washington.

I actually like seltzer but generally I make my own with vodka / whole grain / sochu and flavoring/ fruit or just whisky ans seltzer.

However most of your seltzer are actually malted / brewed beverages, it due to tax reasons in some states like NJ where adding liquor to a prepared beverage is then treated as the entire beverage being liquor for tax purposes (I can tell ans hate the malted flavor), hence you have to actually look for the ones that say vodka (such as high noon). White claw is a malted beverage.

Yeah super saturated, the same thing happened in the 90s I think, even the same with all these whisky places too.

Anyway I walked 18 miles today so I think I will enjoy a nice beer and some sochu from Kyushu later on.
