Thanks. I'm not sure what the technical term is but you could do those Michelin man rings around your drawings to see if there is/add depth. For the perspective it's just basically a lot of practice of copying other artists compositions, if you do it a lot they'll come to you eventually. To make the face specifically 3D, I draw the nose bridge when drawing the construction (even if you don't draw it like me), it gives it depth and also helps me place the features later
