Also feel free to make imprecise generalizations. When I ask "is X true?" I mean "is X common in your personal experience?", not "has X ever happened once in the entire history of erotica?"

>do you read a lot of it? when did you start? do you read it more now than before?
>do you read the whole thing cover to cover, or skip to the good parts?
>is the writing comparable in quality to other mass market fiction? (e.g. airport novels)
>is the story good at all? would it be enjoyable at all without the smut stuff?
>is it always focused on the relationship or are there non-erotic subplots?
>do you masturbate to it as you're holding the book? immediately after you put it down? hours later? not at all? (???)
>is it true that the sex prose is cringy when taken out of context but makes sense when you build up to it?
>do you like to self-insert as the woman, or are you just turned on by the overall situation?
>is there usually a single female POV main character, or can a single story combine several women's adventures?
>is she relatable? how is this accomplished? is she a blank slate protagonist or does she have meaningfully unique personality traits?
>is she pretty, subjectively or objectively? does she make heads turn or is she only recognized as attractive by the specific male characters?
>how old is she?
