ive yet to run into any sketchy situations that led to a crash but my bike also has front and rear rim brakes (required by law in my country) for emergencies. that being said the added control sounds nice- slowing down with my feet is fun but i do feel kind of like i could easily lose the pedals from time to time. My pedals seem ready to accept toe clips so maybe i'll get some fitted when i take the bike in for maintenance. thanks anons
