its the ultimate larp of rebellion against the system since historically the west has always clashed with islam, ranging all the way from the crusades to the ottomon empire.
of course they never look into why these clashes happened and never put 2 and 2 together that islam likes throwing their very types off of buildings like christians did before europe reformed but as long as it gives you a way to stand out against the chuddy system its cool and should be respected.
