Oda is clearly tired of half the straw hats hence the reason he forgets they exists in the recent arcs. He probably regrets making Brook, Franky, and Jinbei permanent members of the crew. He should make the straw hats part ways and just give Luffy a new crew for each island he visits. The straw hat's gimmicks are getting old, they are self parodies at this point.
