Yes, and I've used ACKS for a solo game.
I'm recommending it based on personal experience having found it good for doing the shit I want to do in a solo game.
The problem is 'Suggest a fantasy system' is like 'Tell me a joke' in that it's really 'Read my mind and yes I will bitch if you get it wrong'
