It was a closed beta initially but they were huffing their own ass gas so hard that they thought people would pre order that shit just to get into the closed beta but what actually ended up happening was that so few players were even on that they had trouble with matchmaking kek. Then they walked back the closed beta with an open beta and people just shat on the game
