It's mostly dependant on the category. In the mods section I just assumed that people looking for mods would already know/be interested in the game they get yuri mods for. The descriptions of the mods themselves takes precedence.
In the translation section it makes sense to actually describe what the game is about/like, because people may never have heard of games that got fan translated.
As for the Fate/Extra section, I copy-pasted that Q&A from the anon who introduced the game to the thread back when the CCC translation dropped. If someone wants to make stuff like that for the other games, be my guest. It's a public paste.
