>>4436253It's always best to lead by example, so I have taken some time to research and find more yuri game translations. I think this time I have gotten a good balance of known and obscure stuff!
-Eternal Filena.
A SNES JRPG based on a Japanese novel series where the last survivor of a royal family becomes a gladiator and has to prtend to be a man. For winning the contest she gets a trophy wife who she at first pretends to marry so the poor girl doesn't get sold to sex traffickers. As the story progresses they actually fall in love. The story is about saving the country, very old-school JRPG.
This is honestly a hidden gem I never heard of before. There is supposedly even an anime OVA from the early 90s, which I intend to check out.
-Hat World: New Testament
I don't even need to say anything, we still got a thread for this on the board.
-Magical Girl Luna's Misfortunes
I had to add one eroge at least. It's about a magical girl who gets into a bunch of S&M situations with women. It's actually kinda quality. Underrated some may say.
-Random Dungeon
A classic yuri RPGmaker game that is almost lost to time as you can only get it on the internet archive now. This is a classic that must be preserved!
-Yuri games translated by redsh
Perhaps known from the Hella Yuri community, redsh has been on a translation spree for short yuri games (mostly Chinese ones). These games tend to be <2 hours, so very bingable.
>>4436262>Eternal FilenaThe OVA is certainly a thing to behold.
>>4436286Surprised to see someone who knew about this.
>tried episode 1Honestly, this is shockingly pretty good for an old-school OVA. I also did not expect the story to be so sci-fi. In this world of neo-cyber-Romans the most unbelievable thing is still that anybody falls for Filena's """disguise""" though. She is literally not even trying. Did the slave girl really need to touch her tits to figure out she is a woman?
I can see why they made a game based on this now. The tactical battles and weird tech melee weapons lend themselves to a JRPG. One gladiator just used a straight up chainsaw...
>>4436305There is that Underrated Yuri account on twitter that brought Eternal Filena back into public consciousness a few months ago. I was really surprised I didn't hear about it before.
>>4436319What strange timing... well the SNES game was translated 16 years ago, so it certainly wasn't the first time it was rediscovered.
I wonder if this new re-emergence will mean that someone will translate the light novels as well then. Even if they are 80s pulp, that's yuri history right there.
>>4436262Always good to see more rpgmaker stuff for those of us with ancient toasters.
>>4436331I can assure you that every single game on that list has the lowest requirements. Even a SNES/Famicom emulator takes basically no ressources.
Hat World might legit be the most taxing.
>>4436322I think someone's translated two of them. See the Yuri history thread.
>>4436278I don't think that's it. Might be because not all romance options are yuri? But I haven't exactly investigated yet.
>>4436322people have also been talking about it a little over on at the yuri history thread
>>4373538 and yes, two of the nine novels have been translated recently.
https://www.foxaholic.com/novel/eternal-filena-vol-1/
https://www.foxaholic.com/novel/eternal-filena-vol-2/
I really enjoyed the game, it's goofy in a way that many JRPG's of that era are but its nice to have a one of those where you're playing as a woman and the only consistent party member who never leaves is her wife.
>>4436335It's been a while but I don't think hat world was that bad comparatively. The newer MV/MZ format always seems to run worse than the older ones on my 12ish year old graphics.
>>4436352I just read through that exchange in the history thread and after watching the OVA just now, yeah, I can immediately tell how the tone is not quite the same. Not that I mind a more overtly gay interpretation like the game's, but it obviously loses some nuance.
Also wow, that entire OVA series was just the first volume? Interesting. Will be following the novel translation in hopes that they continue then.
For nw I'll have to beat the game.
>>4436106Neat, will download the demo and try it.
>>4436354Ouch. MV/MZ are essentially web apps, you're running an instance of Chrome that executes the game, which is why they are noticeably less performant than the older Makers (though I've seen devs grind down even VX games to a halt with plugins, so in the end it's up to them...)

Love it when the love interests have better chemistry with each other than towards the player character. And I finally learned how to make this game less punishing with brawling and savescumming
>>4436521I posted the exact same event last thread. It's real funny. Dont seem like romantic chemistry to me tho, especially with Kylar just hating Sydney's guts. Best I can see is her kidnapping Syd to get her out of the way
Though now that I sorta corrupted Sydney and she is more of a bad girl maybe she would mess with kylar. But she is still hyper devoted to only the PC despite being horny all the time.
>savescummingEssential shit for this game let me tell ya. Never start a day without saving and always save before encounter for sure!
While you're trying to learn new stuff, I recommend looking up transformations.
https://degreesoflewdity.miraheze.org/wiki/Transformations
You gotta do some obscure shit for almost everything except angel, which ya get by just staying pure for a long time. Fallen angel is if you are super pure, but lose your virginity which then decays your purity till ya hit demon.
Anyway, those are the base game TFs. If you are playing DoL+ there is also this Bear TF
https://dolmodding.miraheze.org/wiki/DoL_Plus/Transformations
They also copied the bunny TF mod into the game lately, but it aint on the wiki. Here's the git with info on that https://gitgud.io/WinterPeach/DOL-BUNNY
>>4436250So is A tithe in blood any good?
>>4436262>>4436319>I was really surprised I didn't hear about it before.damn I've been here for too long. there used to be a time where there was a /u/ recommended games jpg in the OP that featured both recent games and more oldschool ones, eternal filena among others. apparently it is now buried within the mediafire link with the mention "(old)" (ouch)
it really is a sweet game though. you can find the patched rom easily and run it with snes9x. highly recommended !
>>4436662OP here. I put the "old" label on these links that haven't been updated in years. The mediafire link does still have that file with the old games, but it can only be opened with stuff like LibreOffice or something. When I tried to open it with MSOffice it breaks completely.
In general I would like to replace these links with updated versions, but I can't see myself messing with the mediafire files. The recommendation survey... I would like to delete it already, but I won't do that without input first. The CG list is basically just copy-pasting exhentai galleries, so it's meh.
>you can find the patched rom easily and run it with snes9xBoth are in the paste now, so hopefully this will make it easier for people to get what they need.
>>4436626I haven't played it yet, but the reviews are mostly positive and the artbook shows that it's not subtext at least (I took the OP image from there).
>>4436543Very cute. The fanarts for this game are way too hetero, I wouldn't have seen this
>>4436593Sydney and Kylar has the best dynamic for a rivals-to-lovers trope. Childhood friends + unresolved tension! Kylar may hate her now but Sydney seems wistful.
Would be fun if the NNPCs relieved themselves in some way if left with max Lust for too long. Robin can already be caught masturbating; I wish we could walk in on Sydney and Kylar making out or something
>transformationsMy character grew wings one day when I only wanted to keep her dignity. Looking at the wiki now, thank god for the goose mod. The default visuals look so goofy
>>4436665I've uploaded Power Point versions of the odg files in the mediafire link. I don't have MSOffice installed so I can't confirm that they still look fine.
I haven't updated these charts in more than 3 years and I'm not sure if I'll ever do it again. I'm not planning to take them down but if anyone is willing to take over then be my guest.
At this point though I feel like these charts have overstayed their purpose. When I first made them more than 10 years ago the aim was to list pretty much every /u/-relevant game. This was a realistic goal back then but the explosion of indie games in the early 2020s made it impossible for me to keep pace. My last update was basically going through the Hella Yuri curator trying to tag games I'll never have the time to play.
A good problem for /u/s to have, I guess.
>>4436668>childhood friendsWhere's that coming from? never seen any evidence for that.
>NNPCs flirting/sexing each otherAccording to the devs this isn't really a intended feature. You can have a harem, but no crossover between the LIs.
>default visuals are goofyTotally. It's even funnier when you have a mix of divine and animal TFs. I used to have a cat/angel mix until I lost my virginity to Sydney.
>>4436672Generally I think the Hella Yuri and VNDB links do most of the heavy lifting for yuri game lists as is. I added nepchan for the RPGmaker/doujin game list and the yuri mod/translation paste is also shaping up to be something now.
But your chart still has some obscure stuff that can't be found on Steam or isn't a VN, which is why I'm not really intent on deleting it. If it were to be replaced it would have to be with something equally as ambitious, which I can't see myself creating either.
It's just that /u/ survey which sucks ass and is becoming more irrelevant by the year. I don't know what the point of a CG compilation list even is supposed to be, but it was created before my time, so I assume someone wanted it.
Before the next thread I want to get some input on whether we should get rid of some of these for sure though. The OP is bloated as is.
>>4436680It's when PC and Sydney follow Kylar home (Athletics check). Sydney says they were close when they were kids and said "...It was nice" but she trails off about why her dad forbid her from hanging out with her. I have yet to know what's up with Kylar though.
>not an intended featureAw.
>>4436692>I have yet to know what's up with Kylar thoughGet kidnapped by her at max Jealousy to find out.
>>4436682I could consolidate the mediafire charts into a single one that covers 10+ year old games. Non-VN stuffs that predates the PS4/Xbone/Switch console generation and never made their way to Steam. It's going to be a bit of work so I won't get to it right away, but by definition it won't be something that I'll need to keep up-to-date.
Coupled with the Steam / VNDB / nepchan lists we've got pretty much everything covered. The only thing we'd be missing would be modern console-exclusives, which at this point I believe just means Fire Emblem.
>>4436699If you did that I could truly change the tag from (old) to (timeless) ahaha
>modern console exclusivesYes, ever since Sony started porting their new exclusives to Steam we basically have nothing to worry about anymore. Nintendo is not known for having any yuri exclusives and Xbone is focusing more and more on PC compatibility anyway.
>>4436699If you do change the mediafire link, could you delete Bayonetta 2 from it even though it is older than 10 years? I think we are way beyond plausible deniability and in "This is literally not yuri" territory both on the game and the series.

>>4436249 (OP)So Shinsetsu Mahou Shoujo has been translated to English very recently.
https://shinmahoutradesp.blogspot.com/2025/03/shinsetsu-mahou-shoujo-english-fan.html
But I can't get a clear confirmation on whether it has yuri or not. VNDB does not have a girl x girl romance tag for it, while nepchan does have the Yuri tag on it. All reviews I can find of the game don't mention any romance at all, yuri or otherwise. There are clearly characters who are acting gay for the female protagonist, that much I could gather, but it's hard to pin down more. The fact that some male playable characters exist makes it even more iffy.
I wouldn't be so pressed about some random indie SRPG, but this one gets praised to the high heavens as one of the best in the genre. Would be a win for /u/s if it featured yuri.
BG3 question.
One of my Tavs slept with Lae'zel after saving the grove, even though she's "courting" Shadowheart.
Does this action have any long-term repercussions? The reason I ask this is because i've heard that if you're not careful, Shadowheart goes into "polybislut mode" and starts sleeping with Halsin and wanting a threesome with the Drow twins - one of whom, to my great disappointment, is male.
Even though this particular Tav plans on romancing Minthara anyway, I want to know for the sake of my Tavs/Durges that will romance Shadowheart.
I know that being strictly being monogamous with her avoids her going into "polybislut mode", but I want to know how much leeway there is to avoid it and/or what triggers it.
>>4436717Companions do not sleep with each other on their own. Believe me I wish I could make ShadowFrog real without having to play either of them, but alas, no.
SH will suggest the Halsin threesome if YOU are pursuing Halsin. And at the brothel you can invite her to the foursome with the drow siblings, but you can also just not do that...
Basically you have to pick one companion to romnance in the end. The game does not allow poly relationships and sleeping around gets your approval ratings tanked. At some point you are confronted and have to pick.
>>4436722So having a one night stand with Lae'zel after the grove party is safe, then?
I mean, not all my Tavs/Durges will do it, of course.
>>4436714Bayinetta has always been a chud franchise, even when it predates the term by more than a decade.
No ida why people pretended it was a yuri pillar.
>>4436733Wtf is a chud franchise? Also, I swear to god that every time Bayonetta is mentioned as a female video game character, it's always mentioned in a positive light like Samus.
>>4436734A chud franchise / chud game is a game that very blatantly panders to right wing gamers or gamers with a right wing / conservative ideology; Expedition 33 is the most recent example.
Bayonetta was conceived as sexualized female Dante and from the very first game a man (a self-insert for that conservative male audience) was intended to be her love interest.
>>4436733Will you shut the fuck up about your retarded /v/tard terms already? Nobody wants to hear your autistic rants. Just saying it's not yuri is fucking enough.
>>4436734>every time Bayonetta is mentioned as a female video game character, it's always mentioned in a positive lightThat is irrelevant. Hetsluts are seen as positive among hetshitters.
>>4436736Again, nobody cares about your made up terms. And Bayo was very clearly NOT that until the third game. The entire point of her character is to be sexually in control and not just be some guy's love interest and she clearly wasn't. Bayo in the third game isn't even Bayo from 1 and 2.
Nobody here claims this shit is yuri, but can you stop making up your retarded narratives and spam them on the board you are clearly from instead of here?
>>4436730Why do I need to repeat myself? I think my reply was clear enough.
>>4436741Reassurance, clarification and possible elaboration.
>>4436682>It's just that /u/ survey which sucks ass and is becoming more irrelevant by the yearIt certainly could use updating at least. The basic idea was just to have something to point to when complete newbies who've never played any yuri games come in and don't know what they should try, because throwing THEM at the vndb/hellayuri list is completely unhelpful. At any given point the most recent game listed on Hella Yuri might be some 3D porn nonsense and that's fine if you've been around a while and know you can ignore that and wait for something better to come along, but if you're a total newbie and you see this and you think "That's the best that yuri has to offer?" that's not good.
But unless someone wants to run another survey it's hard to get agreement on what the foundational texts that a newbie should check out are.
>>4436771I don't feel like a survey holds much value here, as this is a small group of people with random tastes. Not enough to actually get a meridian of what is good yuri media.
I feel like that one anon's mediafire files are actually pretty much fulfilling the same purpose way more elaborately right now with all the specific tags. But if they really do cut down on the list to something more old-school I guess we can make another yuri introduction list.
I will think of something...
This Chinese yurifag who made The Fruitless Flower is back.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1063180/Flowerless_Gardenia/
Added Dragon Age and Jade Empire to the mod list so we have all the Bioware RPGs covered now. I'm not super familiar with DA mods so the ones there are just what I came across when googling around and I didn't touch veilguard as I've not played it yet. Maybe some other anon can expand the DA section later.
>>4436818Thank you so much anon. I will double check the mods later, but they all look perfectly good to me.
>VeilguardFor all it's faults it is certainly not lacking in f/f options. But I'm sure there are PLENTY of things in need of fixing.
>All the Bioware RPGsIsn't Anthem technically an RPG too? Not that it matters because it has no romances to begin with.
>>4436830>AnthemI didn't realize it was even still playable, I just presumed the servers were offline after they said they were ending support. Thinking of it more, there is also the Sonic the Hedgehog RPG they made on DS but wont inflict Sonic mods onto the list until a fully voiced Surge mod comes out for SA1
>>4436253Alright, I added the Dragon Age and Jade Empire mods suggested by
>>4436818 to the main paste.
I also changed some formatting for the Fire Emblem and Harvest Moon sections to make the paste more consistent.
...also I realized that for some reason I never added the link to the Fate/Extra CCC patcher. That is insanely embarrassing! Nobody told me! It's now added in both pastes.
>>4436854>Sonic the Hedgehog RPGTHAT abortion... Bioware did some strange shit in the 2000s. Going completely against whatever the Sonic thread on this very board is smoking, I say there is not even a hint of yuri in Sonic. And I dont think anybody is clamoring to make yuri hacks for it...
>Surge for SA1Cool character and all, but not gay (I think). How would you even make it yuri relevant? Replace Sonic with her so Amy can fawn over Surge and be ignored? That's uh... quite desperate.
And yes I know you were joking.

>>4437232What are you even talking about? The mod paste is just for mods. If you have Crymachina mods go ahead and add them.
If you are talking about the shitty survey, then obviously. It was made years ago before Crymachina was even in development.
>>4437229it's not too far off base but kinky isn't the word I'd use. The translator posted about updates to the english patch alongside a lets play originally and the only big liberty I saw them take was renaming the wolf character from Gappy to Hunter because they thought Gappy sounded stupid.
https://lparchive.org/Eien-no-Filena/Update%201/
>>4437241>renaming characters because their names are stupidThen he would have had to rename half the cast of this game though (I mean come on... Nest?). I won't complain about a transllator who did this much free work and gave us a way to play the game because of such a banality of course. I just think it's funny that the line is at G-a-p-p-y.
I kinda forgot how painful old-school JRPGs are. Getting those flowers to cure Filena's eyes was literal torture. Add to that me being too stupid to realize that I can stop the screen from destroying my eyes by just switching Filena out from the leader position and it was actual hell.I doubt the books had 20 chapters of them exploring an icy cave and fighting random plant monsters, but alright.
On the upside, I like that despite going slightly towards the silent protagonist direction for general interactions, Filena does often chime in during story conversations. I think an important aspect of this story is her characterisation so they cant make her a blank slate. The yuri is also better this way.
Also props for having a section where Filena has to "disguise" as a woman. Pure comedy.
I wonder if the dancing catgirl church cult is from the novels too. I'm totally pronouncing that as memes.
>>4437241Interesting. I had no idea the translation spun from SA.
>>4437267>I can stop the screen from destroying my eyes by just switching Filena out from the leader positionI think this is the most common mistake people make when playing and I only avoided it because I remembered a video Magical did years ago where the same thing happened to him.
>I doubt the books had 20 chapters of them exploring an icy cave and fighting random plant monsters,I haven't read the translation for volume 2 yet but going off the illustrations we did miss out on a "sharing body heat survive the cold" scene. I'll only forgive them for cutting that thanks to a nice scene you'll get to at the halfway point of the game. The catgirl church cult is also definitely from the novels.
>>4437267>>4437277the catgirl church/ disguise section is from volume 2 so its now translated. The original novels are really interesting from a yuri perspective. It feels like the author can't decide which way he will go with their relationship and the threats to a yuri interpretation feel much stronger than in the game. Reading the sharing body heat scene was particularly surreal, Lila starts "sharing body heat" by kissing Flilena then explaining it's for survival reasons as if to give the thinnest layer of plausible deniability. Hoping the translation continues, it's an interesting read even if it may ultimately turn out less satisfying than the game yuri wise.
>>4437277>common mistakeI can tell why, because it's a story affliction, so you wouldn't think anything of it at first. I only realized it because I was messing with the menus to find out what the heck front and backline do and accidentally switched Felina with Lila. It was such a relief when the screen turned back to normal.
>catgirls are actually realThat illustration makes them look more like foxes or wolves to be honest.
I gotta stop being surprised by this story's weirdness. It started out with cyber-roman gladiator battles and chainsaws.
>>4437301>sharing kisses for body warmth...that is beyond belief even for the late 80s. Like c'mon. I can't believe the author thought that would fool anyone.
The game is strangely less excplicit than that right now. Although Lila is pretty openly gay for Filena already anyway.
The sheer difference in tone is probably at fault. I mean in the game the Black Devils are basically saturday morning cartoon villains instead of scary super-soldiers (with comically huge bombs and falling off cliffs like Wily Coyote).
>>4436716I have gotten into contact with the author and the response is not encouraging. Apparently the writer of the game prefers not to be explicit on romance and there is only very minor subtext for the girls, while the very few male characters in the game have confirmed relationships with some of the girls. Sounds like heteronormativity in full effect, even if there is some light yuri teasing/subtext the the female protag.
>>4436716I have gotten into contact with the translator and the response is not encouraging. >>4437306>>...that is beyond belief even for the late 80s. Like c'mon. I can't believe the author thought that would fool anyone.Yeah, its fascinating. Perhaps it's for whoever the publishers were? Perhaps himself? I've been told the game is the most explicitly yuri overall but I'm only following the translation. Either way I'm grateful to the translator for their efforts.
>>4437301>Hoping the translation continuesthe translator has said on their kofi that they're in the middle of volume 3 now so hopefully it'll drop in the next few months. Their plan is to switch between doing one Filena novel and one BL project to avoid burn out. It probadly take a while for the whole thing to be complete but at least they seem consistent.
>>4437306yeah the game really does have more of a cartoonish vibe to its story. The OVA and novels feel pretty self-serious with some intermittent light hearted scenes sprinkled throughout, where as the game flips it the other way around. Takeshi Shudo wrote a little about what a disaster the anime turned OVA production was and how the game was delayed to the point where it ended up coming out after both the novel and OVA had finished. Maybe some of that played into the difference in tone the game ended up having.
http://www.style.fm/as/05_column/shudo84.shtml
>>4437342Oh, I thought the game was intentionally made after the novels concluded so as to adapt the full story. I didn't think it was being developed concurrently with the novel releases and just happened to be delayed to that point.
Maybe that's why the game's ending is (allegedly) so much more gay and straightforward.
>>4437342good to hear.
>>4437353Perhaps the game was effected by fan response to the novels? I feel like the 'fake marriage' plot is one of the most notable aspects of the story, I would be very interested in seeing what the fan response / yuri fan response was like in that time.
>>4437356I don't know the novels' actual ending, so this is specultation at best, but for the game, if they did not know how the novels would end during development, a happy ending full of success is basically expected for JRPGs from that era, so it could well be a result of just wanting to give the most straightforward ending they could. Although the entire game is filled to the brim with interactions specifically focused on Filena's gender situation that I doubt they didn't put in some consideration. With how much more open to it Lila seems to be in the game it sounds like that was always the devs' trajectory.
>>4437356There were yuri fans back then?
>>4437518Fair point, still I would be curious to know the audience reaction. The thing I had in my mind was something like the famous response to Utena that was written in the afterward of a doujin. Fliena ran from 84-94 (before utena and even lesbians in sailor moon) so it probably predates a lot of yuri fandom as we understand it.
>>4436626NTA but it was pretty good.7/10 I'd say. It has some very glaring problems but I enjoyed it. Nowhere near as good as Please Be Happy or Heart of The Woods. I hope their next game gets the writer for those back.

>>4437582Stop talking about het games here. If you wanna know, ask the idiot somewhere else.
>>4437547I heard the second half of the game was rushed, so I think it's not so much the writer's fault and more the deadline for the release?
Also fuck the writer of Heart of the Woods and his tranny fetish.
>>4437525Sailor Moon's manga ran from the late 80s into the 90s so it came out at the same time as Filena's novels actually.
>>4437598>fuck the writer of Heart of the WoodsTbf I keep not starting the game due to how bad that dude's voice over work is, but isn't just one of the characters being a troon or does it get worse?
>>4437547I haven't played Please Be Happy, but Heart of The Woods was dogshit, even without the tranny shit, what are you talking about? If you're talking about Studio Elan's other works, Highway Blossoms has a way better story.
>>4437602For fucks sake, just turn the damn voice acting for him off. It can't be that fucking hard.
No, there aren't any more trannies in the game. Just the one.
>>4436716>>4437317Addendum. The translator actually insists that the game does have a pretty much confirmed yuri couple in it (even if there is still the het one too). So that's probably why nepchan has the Yuri tag on it.
I dunno, someone would have to play it to tell how good it really is, but at least it's not off-topic then. The game is praised a lot for it's writing and general quality, so I think if you can ignore a het side-couple it should be worth trying.
>>4437598>Also fuck the writer of Heart of the Woods and his tranny fetish.Huh, guess I was wrong. I thought they were both written by the same person but Please Be Happy was written by someone else. I guess that explains why it didn't have any trannies.
>>4437606Even if the HotW writer doesnt write about any trannies, HotW is just objectively worse than Please Be Happy writing wise too.
Please Be Happy currently stands as Elan's magnum opus. I doubt they will have the random confluence of skill to create something better again.
>>4437607I agree.PBH is in a tier all it's own and I don't think they'll make anything close to as good again. I was looking forward to Summer at the Edge of the Universe but it's already looking grim as one of the routes is a non-binary character.
>>4437608As long as it's a "non-binary" girl it's not that bad. And the advantage of routes is that you can avoid what you dont like.
When they said there would be a wolf love interest i thought they were fucking with me. In reality it is me who is being fucked by a wolf girl now. I went for the cat transformation but i bet this would be way better as a wolf TF.
So what's supposed to be the bad part about this? A harem of wolf girls is pretty sick! They even have a gardening field thats better than the one at the orphanage. Good shit.
I beat the shit out of Black Wolf to challenge her authority and immediately became pack leader too. Hunting deer and robbing scumbags in the forest with my pack. Crazy.
Ok, if I didnt enable monster girls and this was actual beastiality it would be garbage of course, but this way its more like that one Vn... Wolf Tails? With the wolg girl tribe. Love it.
>>4437525There's an old ANN review that claims it would place in Animage's all-time-favorite polls till 1999 so least within the magazine Fliena was serialized in it was pretty well liked.
I've only come across one Fliena fansite and it does have a rant about how Fliena is considered yuri but the site's owner doesn't agree and claims that it comes from people who've only played the game. They don't really make a strong case for why the novels aren't yuri though, its mostly a lament that Lila never gets with a dude she kicks in the balls so hard he can't have kids anymore.

Does this mean there are 4 scenes, like pairing up the servant with the heroine you pick?
>>4437674There's just one scene and its just the funny reference between Saber and Rin mana transfer from FSN
Gales of Nayeli has just been released. It looks like a step up from the other SRPG Studio games if you desperately need your Fire Emblem fix. Just from the demo, the main character is bi and able to romance the edgy dark elf.
>>4437684>edgy dark elf yuri I will now play your game.
>>4437685I take it back, $28 is a lot of $$$ for a pixelart SRPG. It looks a lot better than usual RPG-Maker slop but even so I gotta at the very least wait and see reviews first.
>>4437674Yes there technically are two variations per Servant meaning you get 6 possible configurations. Although two of thosw are het due to Archer being a dude. But as you wont pick Archer you have nothing to worry about.
Just remember, the sex is off-screen and Hakuno doesnt get to see more than the very beginning.
>>4437647So some dude from the 90s is salty that Lila only "shared body warmth" with Filena and not a dude she doesnt like? This gets better every day.
>>4437727Has anyone ever seen the Rani/Tamamo version? I've beaten Extra at least 6 times and 5 of those were the Rin route lol

Gas Station Story is out and appears to star a they-woman who dates another woman
>>4437823>a they-womanIt's either a woman or it's not.
>>4437834Which is why anon said it's a woman. Not complicated.
Had anyone played Yamiyo Ni Odore?
I want to play this fucking game it's been like 10 years and still no translation?
>>4438014This is a review by someone who played it:
"*Yamiyo ni Odore - ... Don't play it. It's not worth it. You barely get any character development or interactions. There's het rape and attempted gang rape. The method to try to get into someone's route is systematic tedious, such as clicking the same option every time until you finally get an event happen. It's also an rpg-ish mission game, not that fun either."
Doesn't sound like something worth translating so I'm not shocked it wasn't. The only translation is in Russian, as expected of those Orcs, they sure love their rape games.
>>4437811It's mostly dependant on the category. In the mods section I just assumed that people looking for mods would already know/be interested in the game they get yuri mods for. The descriptions of the mods themselves takes precedence.
In the translation section it makes sense to actually describe what the game is about/like, because people may never have heard of games that got fan translated.
As for the Fate/Extra section, I copy-pasted that Q&A from the anon who introduced the game to the thread back when the CCC translation dropped. If someone wants to make stuff like that for the other games, be my guest. It's a public paste.
>>4438018The only rape that's acceptable is yuri.
Too bad though, from the op it looked like it was decent quality. Guess I'll just take care of the backlog.
Why is that free maid yuri game that was translated by anon called again? I finally have some time to spare to play it.
>>4438038https://mismi-s.itch.io/affection
This one?
I love it when a game makes me think "what the fuck", both situationally and how it's explained. Yuri games have just the best shocks and wtf moments. Especially Kogado stuff
>>4438040I think back to my time reading Shadows of Pygmalion very fondly
>>4437647wow, thanks for finding this. Pretty much what I was looking for exactly, sans their "anti lily" stance. I kind of agree with them that Lila is the standout character strangely enough, (a yuri interpretation for her in the LN is currently much stronger than Filena's own, and her narrative position as assigned concubine/wife who becomes devoted to her same sex partner is wildly unique compared to the hidden chosen one thing Filena has going on) glad she doesn't end up with their preferred character though.
>>4438043>Shadows of PygmalionI've never read that, I know I heard mixed things about the yuri in it some time back, was it too light? Or did it have an unfulfilling ending?
I don't really remember.
>>4438053Het. The reason it was mixed is because it had hetshit, like all edgy VNs of that era.
>>4438053>mixed things about the yuriShallow and underdeveloped, and even the true ending is pointlessly bitter.
Just finished Flowers Printemps. I know the volume is already infamous for the puzzles that revolve around arcane and sometimes outright false out-of-game information, but having got the overall bad ending and now looking at an online list of the pro-Mayuri choices they seem equally strange to me. A lot of them shouldn't have any bearing on your relationship with Mayuri at all, and of the ones that do they often seem to be the opposite of what I'd expect. For example in Chapter 7 there's a part where someone suggests involving Mayuri in something you're working on, and Rikka's possessive streak kicks in and she immediately tries to shoot it down - but apparently agreeing with Rikka and NOT seeking Mayuri's help is the pro-Mayuri choice. Even more baffling is in Chapter 8 when Yaegaki asks if you are dating Mayuri, the answer that's something to the effect of ใใใช่จณใชใใใใชใใ! is the PRO-Mayuri option while the answer that's like ใใใซ่ฆใใใ? is the ANTI-Mayuri option. Huh? Who would ever guess this?
>>4438080The flower on the righthand side of the text box bloomed when choosing Mayuri choices and wilted when choosing Rikka's if I remember correctly. But yeah this was weird
>>4438080I haven't played Printemps in years, but I never felt the Mayuri choices were that unclear. It's been too long to remember what my reasoning for choosing them was though.

>>4438187you have not played the game

>>4438080A lot of japanese VNs seem to think that utterly obtuse choices is the beauty of the genre. Play the flowers games with a guide, seriously. Don't treat them as stories you can explore or you'll just be disappointed.
>>4438197If you need a guide you are honestly a moron. There is literally a visual indicator what route you are on... And every other specific ending is a binary choice.
>>4438196>still lyingunhinged
>>4438196Explain this to me.
There's literally one old man character, and the rest is just female on female rape.
When does this actually happen? I'm playing right now, and I won't stop mond you because it's still yuri and I don't give a fuck as long as I get ship girls, but I'd be interested in of you could simply explain this in the most vague way possible so I know before hand.
>>4438206>lying and projecting it on the one who is correctInsanely unhinged.
>>4438207>I will do this no matter whatThen experience it firsthand. You deserve it.
>>4438221tn: no evidence and fearmongering about something that doesn't even happen
fits in right with the rest of the thread I guess
>>4438224>very obviously trolling nowYeah I figured you'd reveal yourself right about now. You losers literally never learn.
A real person would have been able to parse the info already given about hetshit happening in the game, which was already discussed a hundred times before in these threads and specifically mentioning the major female antagonist, which is not even a hint it's just the actual info asked for. But as you are just a worthless troll you obviously aren't gonna try to use that mushy brain of yours.
Now how are you gonna bore me next with another predictable non-sequiteur?
>>4438226>Now how are you gonna bore me next with another predictable non-sequiteur?i'm not predictable, you are!
>>4438231You fucking weirdo. You just go around thread interjecting into argument pretending to be the other poster making clown replies. Are you seriously that bored? It's just bafflingly pointless.
>>4438226took a long time to say you had no proof
>>4438243This is the biggest hint you are a troll. The same idiot using the "no proof" line every time hetshit is brought up. You know I'm not going to post hetshit and you know I don't have to proof a plot point in a game to you. That's not how this shit works. Proof to me that a girl gets raped by men in Tokyo Necro. Just post some proof, why don't you? At least then the mods can finally ban your for the 22nd time.
Boring non-sequiteur, as expected.
>>4438231>>4438243Okay, I'll play it and give an actual answer. I'm seeing absolutely no evidence, and besides that... Just because there's some het side shit that happens doesn't really mean much. It's still a yuri game where all the main females are trying to gang rape MC, including inanimate objects.
IDK why people do this.
>>4438221>I deserve it I'm not an insecure insect who believes that an entire experience is ruined by one scene, and it's not something that bothers me. IDK why some males do this. The game is not hetshit just because some one off incident happens. It's a yuri game with majority yuri content. People watch shows for side ships and don't consider the show yuri yet they can still enjoy it. That's like saying an entire show is gay because of a gay side ship. So in this case, why the fuck would you bother worrying about something dumb like that? You should probably go back to gooning to your cuck porn bro, that's how obsessed you are. Why would you try to avert people away from a good overall experience? You don't seem like you like yuri at all.
>>4438252>hetshit doesnt bother meThen leave. So many words wasted.
Hetshit, pointless tragedy for the sake of it, pointless rape and edge. It's all the kind of trash only someone as stupid as you could possibly enjoy. I'm almost envious of how little goes on upstairs for you, because that sure would make life easier.
>>4438257I don't care. I love yuri. You can leave since you don't like yuri.
You wouldn't watch Mai-Hime because there's hetshit even though one of the best yuri ships in existence is there? This is why self-inserring gooner men just sit around and complain. You don't want to play then don't play it dumb fuck.
Your measly irrelevant opinion means nothing to me and I'll enjoy the game.
TLDR: Seethe and cope, go back to /a/ insecure cross boarding faggot
>>4438257>>4438258I love double tsundere couples, so cute.
>>4438198It's not about NEEDING a guide, sweetie, it's about not disrupting the flow of the story to think about choices which are stupid and don't make sense.
Obviously you can make a choice, go "oh I guess that's wrong" and back up, but this causes frustration. Following a guide and spending entirely zero thought on the "choices" so you can focus on the story instead makes the experience better.
>>4438258>literal dude says he is fine with hetshit in yuri>goes on a tirade about how people who disagree are males like him>tells people who actually want exclusively yuri content to go to /a/, where he is fromWhat a magnificent mental breakdown.
>>4438262I think you're just stupid. So is that main couple no longer gay because their parents are straight? I swear, I see your dumbass here shitting up the threads everyday with your contamination.
>>4438265>thinks that a common sentiment posted in all the threads on /u/ must be from the same anon rather than the actual opinion of the majority of the boardThe mental dissonance...
>b-b-but parents have to be het!Terrible deflection. How many yuri works focus on the parents love story or show you a random sex scene of the parents? The incredibly small fraction of a percent that does so is 100% worthless to /u/.
Also there are plenty of yuri stories with two moms. Fuck you.
>>4438263Sakurako and Himawari from Yuru Yuri.
>>4438267lol
Again so insecure, how juvenile do you have to be to not enjoy a story because a side ship is het?
And again, what fucking impact does the side ship have on the overall story? Is there some reason that you can't read or watch something with het and enjoy it for the yuri? You have a personal problem and like to be not only the content police but the thought police. The things I can tolerate are reasonable, I'm not worried about something so stupid because I don't feel like I'm getting cucked in a fucking game. I literally don't care if I can enjoy the rest of the story. You're probably also the type that doesn't understand writing fanfiction for non-canon ships.
>>4438268Unique example. Haven't seen that in a long while. What about from any games? It's kind of hard to find a tsundere mc I think.
>>4438274>how could you possibly not enjoy het in your yuri works? This is so strange and totally something a /u/ anon would ask
>>4438274>, how juvenile do you have to be to not enjoy a story because a side ship is het?Are we talking a side ship or are we talking some female character randomly gets raped by a male? I haven't totally been following y'all's argument. The existence of het rape doesn't make the main yuri couple not yuri but it can make a story unappealing if that's not something you felt like dealing with.
>>4438274Oooooh, good burn but you're one to talk about deflecting. Answer the question. Is it not possible for you to enjoy the main ship and story because of some dumb side hetshit? Sure as fuck doesn't matter for me. My otp is my otp, I don't care.
>>4438278How dare you be normal and not enjoy het rape in a yuri story?! Anon will tell you why it is not only right to have het rape in yuri, but why it should be mandatory, so that we can feel less like cucks or something. Don't you enjoy the yuri MORE after seeing how vile het is?
>>4438278Yeah I totally understand either argument, but at that point it's personal preference. People are free to do whatever they want but this guy is just straight up lying, I'm not bothered by it so much as others but certainly wouldn't prefer it but I'm never deterred because I wholly love yuri. Fear mongering by calling something hetshit because some side ship happened (which likely isn't even true) is clearly because he's trying to make people dislike yuri content. Bizarre behavior.
>>4438281Yuri isn't het, therefore why would the het have any effect on the yuri? If you dont like it then don't like it, that's your choice but you're lying about shit and then acting like there's some devaluing of the yuri if some other hetshit happens.
>>4438284Crossboarder, the more you insist that you love yuri while saying in the same breath that you are not bothered about a lesbian getting raped by men in a story, the more you will be ridiculed as the freak you are.
Calling out hetshit has nothing to do with fearmongering. It is literally a dealbreaker for 90% of this board and is very much not acceptable. It is at best a stain you have to pretend isn't there. It's not even allowed to be discussed according to the rules. Giving people warnings about this trash content is a duty.
>>4438285You literally didn't beat the game at all and have been insisting it's a lie based on nothing, which is a great example of how tiny your male brain is.
Let's go through this step by step. You basically said it doesn't matter if a lesbian couple gets raped by a bunch of men, because they are in love with each other. Do you seriously not understand the absolute retardation of your inane existence right now? ESPECIALLY because they are lesbians in love with each other that would make the fucking het rape even more unacceptable. You arent winning shit with the shield of "I like yuri, so the het doesnt matter" in a scenario where the het is forced between the yuri, you godforsaken dumbass.
>>4438286>lesbian getting raped by men in a storythis never happens in the game btw
>>4438286You're the only one making shit up. And I'm not going to bother anymore now that you went with the "I know you are but what am I" argument. Not only that you're now changing the argument.
Maybe you should just play all the het games and then tell us why we shouldn't play them.
>>4438288lol, keep being insecure. It's again not going to ruin my enjoyment.
>>4438289Who cares? Why are you deflecting from the general topic by jumping back to the game? This is your trial and inevitable execution for saying a bunch of retarded crossie shit.
>>4438290>You are so INSECURE about literal het rape in yuri, how totally strange and definitely something a /u/ anon would say
>>4438291because I only cared about how you were talking out of your ass about a game you've never played
>>4438291Imagine being so insecure that you're upset that people can still enjoy something that you would prefer to skip. You don't like yuri side ships like tyzula, you don't like main ships like chierixnagisa(akb0048) because a side character has a boyfriend. You need to just leave. You can't enjoy anything and try to ruin the experience of others. You just want everyone to be as miserable and close minded as you.
>>4438295>you want everyone on the yuri board to only consume yuri without hetshitOh no, you caught me.
>how INSECURE of your to be bothered by het rape in yuri stories. It is so normal and totally not an issue for ME, so that means it's actually subjective to the board too, right?Honestly I'm most impressed by the fact that you can even spell inscure, despite not knowing what it means or how it is used.
>>4438297>Honestly I'm most impressed by the fact that you can even spell inscureNo argument anymore? Cool. Guess it's settled then. Don't come back.
>>4438298>can't parse greentext eitherShocking.
Do these two think they're accomplishing anything by arguing in circles like this? All they're doing is getting mad, they'll never be able to convince the other that they're right.
Shut up and stop trying to get the last word in, you both suck.
>>4438300You're just making yourself looks stupid now. Really stupid. And now that you've begun using the same "can't parse" wording I know it's you. You sit in here all all day, just fear mongering and hating yuri.
>>4438303You haven't even tried with your bait in ages. Give it a bit more effort.
>>4438302Report and move on.
>>4438304What bait? You mean like saying that a yuri game is het?
>>4438307Like saying hetshit is fine in yuri and het rape is not a problem at all and that all lesbians should in fact be raped just to prove how little it bothers you.
>>4438308Quote me. When did I say lesbians should be raped?

>>4438302>"Wow, there is plenty of activity on the yuri game thread. Maybe we got a new exciting announcement / release?">It's just two retards arguing with each otherIt's so tiresome. The worst part is that the mods will ignore them and instead will purge this post and ban me.

>>4436262>Eternal FilenaPlaying this now feels like testing how many miserable mechanics you'll put up with for the sake of yuri. Apparently a lot, in my case, because it's pretty cute so far. Can't say I miss the old jrpg experience.
>>4438452I think the only two major flaws of the game are the ATB system (it's either too fast or too slow, no inbetween) and how there is no quest log. Maybe I'm spoiled by modern convenience, but I hate having no idea what to do and having to talk to literally every NPC to get clues sometimes. I like exploring and talking to NPCs mind you, but when I'm at part 3 of the current chapter's main objective in the same town I dont wanna talk to every NPC a third time... There were several times where I could only advance by getting a clue from an NPC I already talked to repeatedly because they suddenly had new things to say with no indication.
Everything else feels fine to me. The presentation is good even if there are no sprites and it gives me a bit of a Chrono Trigger vibe.
>>4438459Yeah, I really dislike how the most important skill in battle seems to be your ability to recognize words in a list quickly. Especially with items
>but when I'm at part 3 of the current chapter's main objective in the same town I dont wanna talk to every NPC a third timeOr you talk to the wrong npc and are irrevocably shuffled forward in the plot and have to reload to finish exploring. Only to find there was nothing there anyway.
>2 years since the last dev update of heartbeat 2
it's over...
>>4438477>talk to the wrong npc and are irrevocably shuffled forward in the plot and have to reload Hasn't happened to me yet thankfully. Although I dont feel like there is a lot of missable stuff in this game.
Admittedly I found some interesting tidbits and foreshadowing, like that one guy in the first town's hospital who says he was a sick 14 year old boy and the new docor experimented on him and now he is an old dying man. He even mentioned the previous doctor was ousted from the town when the new evil doctor took over, which is foreshadowing for when you meet that doctor again when he helps Filena with her eyes. That was 100% missable.
Gay bear sex unites eastern and western rpgs.
>>4438348NTA, can you spoil it for me? I've been considering reading it but I'm on the fence because I'm afraid that given the tone it's not the happy yuri ending that I'd want.
I'm the type who prefers to know this stuff in advance.
>>4438517Hard to pick wrong when GoA really has a bachelorette cast full of hits.
>Lila for no plot reason just wants to sleep in the same bed with Filena on the boat journey despite having her own
There is no heterosexual explanation for this and the game isn't trying to pretend it has one. In fact it actively denies it's because she is scared or something banal.
Very good.
>>4438519mega spoilers the main character resets the world and everyone lives a happy, normal life from thereon. but since the characters are essentially meeting for the first time, it might not be the yuri ending you're looking for. your main love interest is confirmed lesbian in this reset world, though.
>>4438539That's the "good ending" by the way. Everything else sucks even more ass. And you can argue that reset endings are always bad endings because the characters you actually knew are basically dead and gone. I hated this about Blue Reflection 2 as well. But BR2 wasn't a miseryfest full of garbage.
>>4438539Is the post-reset love interest at least the same one from before the reset? Do they look like they'll get together or something?
>>4438540So it's not the 'true' ending?
>>4438541it's the true ending, and there's a sign that there are some lingering sentiments from the previous world when the main character introduces herself and the other characters stop for a moment, with one even crying. but even if they're meeting for the first time in this world, the main character is "strangely" super optimistic about her future with all of her friends from the previous world
>>4436250>Adult Life Yuri BundleSome new adult yuri fuck yeah! I'm so tired of teenage romance VNs.

>>4438536probably my favorite scene in the whole game. The game often goes the comedy route when it comes to Lila's feelings for Filena so its nice to have this part be very sincere. Also highlighting the how far they've come from when they first met and Lila was being forced to go to Filena bed, versus now where she doing it because she actually wants to be close with her.

I thought I was missing something.
Added a few mods from Fallout 3, New Vagas and 4. I was mostly looking at ways to avoid being married to a dude in fallout 4 but I figured I'd grab some smaller mods for 3 and new vagas while I was there.
>>4438014>>4438018Huh. I had this on my computer from a long way back and never got anywhere with it because it wasn't translated, I don't know Japanese, and it was a little too complicated to fake my way through it. Seems that's just as well. Thanks for the info.
>>4439081Thank you for adding the mods. I definitely think there are a lot more New Vegas mods that would be relevant and which I will add when I got time.
Those Fallout 4 beinning mods really show how much people hated being forced into a strongly railroaded background. It was especially bad for lesbian player characters so these should almost be considered necessary.
Fallout London really is kind of disappointing for having no real romance at all. I don't think it has much value for a /u/ playthrough. Still a neat conversion mod.
>>4436253I added the Fallout mods to the main paste and split up the Dragon Age section into inidividual segments. The "series" tag should probably be reserved for big long running series where you will just find mostly a single mod or so per game.
I think Dragon Age has a lot more to offer still in terms of mods. One day someone will find the romancable Shanni mod for the female elf Warden in some long dead forum.

How minor is the yuri in Awaken: Astral Blade? It looks fun.
What about the detective stuff in Lady in Mystery? Do you actually need to do some thinking?
>>4439868>Astral BladeIt's a metroidvania, so you can probably imagine what most of the game is like. The yurii is at least explicit from what I remember.
>Lady in MysteryI think the mysteries are alright, but the main focus is on the character interactions. The translation is pretty meeiocre, so that might also add to the impressions. But it is far from the MTL garbage I have seen on other Chinese games.

I added this to the sales list (40% off). But them keeping the original up will lead to lots of people missing this.
>>4440040So it is kinda like Ark Survival Evolved? You build a base, fight enemies and bosses in single-player or co-op?
The screenshots and videos really make it seem like combat is a heavy focus of the game, with magic and cool boss fights, so I'm not sure how much the survival aspect actually matters in the long term. Building a home is fine for me.
It does call itself a sandbox game though so I guess expectations shouldnt be too high.

>>4440183It's not as explicit as that and Io dies right after anyway (unless you get the super duper true secret ending where it is implied she might return).
Player self-insert with zero personality or writing is bad enough as it is, but the "subtext" with Io is so generic is almost hurts.
The most interesting yuri subtext in the game is between Aurora and Karen, but they have so little screentime together it doesnt go anywhere. Mostly feels like a one-sided crush.

>>4440262Akaiito's one is very good, Aoishiro a little less so but still good enough.
>>4440267Tbh I thought Akai Ito was less gay than Aoi Shiro and generally not as compelling. Never really got the overwhelming preference for Akai Ito but that's just my opinion. Both great games
>>4440335Anon... you blind lesbian lizard. They were taking about the translation quality.
>>4439997>>4439923>>4439894I am working on an English TL patch for Lady in Mystery. Won't be a beautiful localization or anything but it will be more accurate and functional than the shit English TL we currently have (which I don't even think is MTL, I think it was completed by a real person with poor English fluency). I can post the patch here when it's done if anyone else is interested but it won't be done super soon or anything as manually extracting chunks of text from each individual chapter/route and replacing the English TL files one by one is time-consuming. Few weeks probably.
>>4440128It's so bad that the English translation needs a English patch.
>>4440353Yeah I would appreciate your work
>>4440353If you believe your translation will do a better job, then go ahead. If you think it's only marginally better, maybe reconsider. I'm not saying this to be mean, but because I know how much time and effort translations take.
If you do go through with it, try to get a proof reader involved. And once you feel 100% sure about the end result, definitely go to VNDB to submit your patch. These /u/ threads are small and you have a better chance to reaching people on vndb.
>>4440365Will do, I'll keep you guys updated. The game was built in Ren'Py so it's pretty easy to extract the Korean script but replacing each chunk bit by bit is a pain in the ass. Anyway, it'll get done and I'll let you guys know when it's up.
Any recommendations for shortstack game /u/?
>>4440408I seriously can't with these people who come to /u/ to ask for their fetishes, but with the flimsy excuse of projecting them unto yuri.
>>4440462So I didn't misunderstand? It was actually about flatchests?
>>4440465It's about you and your desires not being relevant. If you want to jerk off to shortstacks or self-insert into a story where you fuck them, go to /h/. Clearly you don't care about yuri anyway.
Or maybe go to one of the dozens of worthless image dump threads that were made specifically for crossboarders like you to cater to fetishes that have nothing t do with yuri and regularly ignore the yuri aspect completely in favor of posting two women in proximity being involved in a fetish without actually giving any indication of being into each other.
>>4440467Are you okai? I was seriously confused when I read "shortstack game /u/" and had no idea what it could mean. And when you answered the post, I just assumed the first thought of mine when I read it "huh, does sis mean flatchest? That'd be funny." was correct.
So I don't get your hostility right now. I was not the one asking for "shortstack game /u/". Did you think before posting this? Or did you wake up with the wrong foot and simply just want to vent at someone?
>>4440469Moron, shortstacks are lolis with huge tits.
>>4440470You just wanted to vent at someone. Got it. Thanks for clarifying anyway.
>>4440471I wasn't venting, I was telling you off under the assumption that you are the moron who requested his fetish, thinking you were trying to be catty on top of it by saying "so you only like flatchests here?"
>>4440353>Few weeks probably.>Steam lists 30-40 hours playtimeI was curious so I downloaded the game and looked through the script files, and found that there are 21,863 lines of translated text. You can calculate the time to complete based on how many lines you can do per day, but this would be a massive undertaking any way you look at it.
>>4440504I started today and I've already got up to chapter 4 of the common route done. There are 7 chapters in the common route before the game branches into the girls' routes. Once I finish the common chapters, I'll do Juhee's and Seoyeon's routes first and then finish with Yurin's and Iljimae's. I've got nothing to do this weekend so I anticipate finishing the common route by tomorrow night and then I'll take it a bit slower to do the girls' routes as I am back to work on Monday.
I really love this game and I hate that the terrible English TL is an instant dealbreaker for so many people who don't even realize they're missing out. I will for sure have Juhee's and Seoyeon's routes done within the next few weeks, might be a bit longer for Yurin's and Iljimae's as their routes depress me and therefore I am less interested in them.
>>4440508I have the game in my backlog but I'm in no rush to play it. Looking forward to your patch.
On this topic, can someone confirm that they fixed the translation for Chrono Jotter? I heard that it was MTL at launch.
>>4440512It wasnt MTL. And how the hell did you "hear" that but not about them updating the translation?
Tip: Every steam game has a community hub and there is a news section where the devs post updates. If they update a translation you can be nearly sure they will post about it.
https://steamcommunity.com/app/1398740/allnews/
Chrono Jotter's translation got improved and is now good. I hope people will stop asking about this one day...
>>4439770Are there any games you can recommend list-anon? You seem to know a lot of yuri games, so if I wanted to get the most value out of 40 dollars what is the list?
>>4440512Yes they updated the translation a while back it doesn't work great on steam deck though so I haven't had time to really read it
But what I did read seemed to flow really well
>>4440560That depends on several factors.
1. What do you consider value? Games with the best yuri? Games with the most content/playtime?
2. What genres do you like? If you dislike VNs for example that changes the recommendations.
3. Are you from the USA? You say dollars, but every store has different prices.
40 bucks is not a lot to work with, but I will try my best.
Under the assumption that you want the most yuri value:
Please Be Happy $13.39

Volcano Princess $7.91

Mass Effect Legendary Edition $5.99
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1328670/Mass_Effect_Legendary_Edition/
Fallout 4 $7.99

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous $6.99

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen $4.79

Stardew Valley $7.49
https://store.steampowered.com/app/413150/Stardew_Valley/
Overall = $41.16
I hope diverging by 1 dollar is not a dealbreaker. It would have been cheaper outside the US.
Worth mentioning is that for most of the games in the "content" section there are plenty of mods to enhance/artificially increase the yuri and content in general even further.
>>4440470Shortstacks are also adult goblins/gnomes/dwarves/halflings with big asses.
Just because it's a fetish, doesn't mean it isn't /u/.
>>4440668The issue is that this approach is entirely backwards. That retard isn't looking for yuri, he is looking for his fetish and just wants yuri lesbian sex as an add-on. People like that can go to their image dump containment threads.
>>4440680While it could have been phrased better, I think it's pretty obvious to assume that they're look for stuff without het.
Is Atelier Yumia yuri? I've bren eyeing the game for a while but no one says anything about the game being yuri or not.
>>4440693>Is Atelier Yumia yuri? No. And these threads have been very clear about that ever since it was released.
How is the player character referred to by other NPCs in Baldurโs Gate 3?
Do your party members say stuff like โI canโt believe weโre listening to herโ. Or does the player just have a โtitleโ and they all awkwardly phrase their sentences around that when talking about you?
>>4440726it's just "hey you"
>>4440726Tav/Durge have no title. Dialogue does mostly stick to "You" whenever possible, but they do use gendered terms and pronouns to refer to the player in the rare times when there is no other way.
>>4440680Are you under the impression that women have no interests or preferences of any kind and consider all other women interchangeable and therefore would never look for any specific kind of yuri?
(I'm not suggesting the other anon is a girl, btw, just being confused that you seem to think having any sort of interest whatsoever beyond 'is it female' is anti-yuri.)
>>4440745Nobody cares if you are a man or a woman. (You) don't factor into yuri. Even if this was a lesbian asking, it would have zero relevance.
If a character in a yuri game/manga/anime has preferences that is all fine and dandy. It's the audience whose fetishes should not have any input whatsoever. Your desire for women is not yuri, it doesn't pertain to the fictional world. Once you go on about how hot feet are and how you want to see the feet of lesbians, you have completely strayed from the actual point of yuri, which is the romance/sex between two fictional women.
I find it strange that this basic concept keeps confounding people. But the game threads in particular obviously facilitate this issue, because of all the self-insert content. If the character in the game is literally supposed to be (You) people suddenly feel way more encouraged to speak of their own fetishes and project waifufag dynamics on the love interests in the game. It hurts the yuri more than anything and wouldn't happen in a yuri VN with a proper protagonist. This is why many consider self-insert content the lowest form of yuri.
>>4440746Not the one you responded to but I'm curious. Should the phrasing have been (for example):
Please, can someone tell me about a game that contains a woman loving the feet of other women? I'm absolutely curious.
>>4440751While that is just stupidly obvious it would have been ever so slightly better. Even better would not to be asking for your shitty fetishes at all.
>>4436253I have added an unhealthy amount of Fallout 4 mods to the paste, basically tripling the content of the game. Might as well live in the wasteland forever now.
I also added a singular Volcona Princess mod, but it's the one we all need. A mod that prevents you from gaining affection with the blacksmith by buying his stock. Exploiters rejoice.
>>4440745Dont reply to the wannabe janitor
>>4440746>Nobody cares if you are a man or a woman.Yes, dear, that's why I said I wasn't seriously implying that the other poster was female, but being baffled by your idea that it's impossible for anyone to be into yuri while also having any preferences whatsoever.
> It's the audience whose fetishes should not have any input whatsoever. So if someone likes to read werewolf romances they are by default no longer interested in romance because otherwise all romances would have equal value to them? This is a very strange worldview you have.
Or is it only specific tastes that you think are antithetical to yuri? Is it acceptable for someone to ask for one character to have blue eyes, or is that automatically anti-yuri to you? Is it acceptable to ask for "a Yaya-like character" or is that anti-yuri to you?
>>4440780> Is it acceptable for someone to ask forI don't want to go in-between again. But sis already answered that question here
>>4440761>Even better would not to be asking for your shitty fetishes at all.So I am under the assumption that not asking for anything specific except for yuri is the "correct" answer. Which seems baffling to me. Because does it mean excluding different kinds specifics/genres/tastes is also wrong? That would mean, not wanting vore for example (I particular don't like that) is also wrong. And I don't see the difference between asking for myself or asking for something excluding myself. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this, but I have not found an answer for this.

I don't know if he's a genuine schizo or a crossboarder playing a long game of concern trolling, but in any case he makes it his mission to make this thread unuseable by shouting at everyone how they don't like yuri and are crossboarders and blahblahblah.
Just ignore him or filter his catchphrases.
Anyone feel like the gameplay loop for rf6 is identical to rf5, 4, 3, etc.?
>>4440794If it's working... why would they feel the need for changes?
>>4440794There is no RF6 yet.
Also do you know what a farming sim is?
>>4440780>>4440782You two are either incredibly stupid or playing dumb. And I can't tell which yet. You know exactly what I meant by fetishes and self-inserting yet you keep trying to make this about other things. Do better.
>>4440807What the hell am I playing then?
>>4440815A spin-off. The real RF6 comes out next year.
so is that Warhammer game any good? I remember a lot of people saying that I should wait until dlc last year when it came out. I haven't heard much about it since but if it's half as good as Pathfinder it'd be nice
>>4440838It's okay, although like WOTR you might want to wait until all the DLC is released and the game is actually "complete".
But even in its current state it's fine if you don't want to wait.
But definitely get the Death Cult Assassin DLC. Otherwise your only options are Jae, who has a higher body count than Kharn the Betrayer, or Yrliet, who not only will *never* sleep with you but also makes your PC act like a stupid/naรฏve moron.
>>4440859Oh I thought all the dlc was out already, I had no clue. I might pick up that tainted grail game maybe? Hella Yuri said it had optional yuri content in it
>>4440859>Yrliet, who not only will *never* sleep with you but also makes your PC act like a stupid/naรฏve moron>get with an Eldar>get the Eldar experienceWhat were you expecting?
Oh yeah the build your own bento bundle on fanatical is about to end soon. It has stuff like Highway Blossoms, Harvest Moon Winds of Aether, Perfect Gold, Salomes Kiss and I think a few other yuri games
>>4440866It's still worth a playthrough. Who knows how long before all the DLC is released.
>>4440867I wasn't expecting anything, as I already knew about her "romance" and I am never going to waste my time even bothering to romance her. Unless there will be another romancable female character in a future DLC, all my Rogue Traders are sticking with the latex-clad killer assassin.
Kind of a backwards question but does Witchspring R have any romance at all?
It doesn't seem to be yuri but I just want to make sure it doesn't have het either.
>>4440891Pretty sure the female player character is shipped with Justice, a reoccurring male enemy/rival character.
>tfw no RE4remake but yuri...
Sorry i'm just going through all the RE gaems...
>>4440891I've been meaning to check this one as well, but I keep hesitating every time I recall the way the previous game (Eirudy) locked both the "good" ending as well as all postgame content behind the protagonist's heterosexual romance/marriage. I would love to have my presumptions proven wrong, but as things stand I would be willing to assume it does not have much /u/ value to speak of.

>>4440926Given the fact that you are samefagging it's pretty easy to tell what you are.
I know you only see your wife for this one scene in the entire game, but let's say I would have prefered to customise her a little.
Picked the Same-sex marriage start mod, because it seems less intrusive.
>>4440793Whenever I see someone mass quoting people like this and schizo rant about a specific anon it's usually a surefire sign they are a troll. You're pretty close to proving the rule.
>>4440615Thanks! I just wanted to have some recs, so the money was just secondary. I will be checking out some of the games you listed then.
>>4440961i still fucking remmeber hwen this gort evealed and how stupid it was that they forced the husband+wife setting on the player

The other mod changes the start way more with making you an outsider who saw the kidnapping, but it isnt your child. Or you can even start as a Wastelander and skip the entire Vault-Dweller origin.
But I mean if I can pretend lesbian marriage and science babies are a thing I will take it.
>>4439580Speaking of volcano princess a week or so ago the team announced on Weibo a new game. It's more or less Volcano Princess Wuxia Edition.
>>4440793>everyone I don't like is the same singular person trust me bro I saw it in a dream
>>4441039Same gameplay and all?
>>4441039It was already full of wuxia influences as is, as expected of a chink game. Let's hope the CCP doesnt get to these girls and they can continue to make explicit yuri.
>>4440511Cool, Juhee's parts have been butchered the worst from what I've translated so far of the common route (on chapter 6 now). Some of her lines were mistranslated to mean the exact opposite of the original lines. Her POV segments were completely fucked too. I'm also correcting poor anachronistic word choices the official English script made like how Juhee constantly refers to herself as a "lesbian" (she actually describes herself as a "woman who likes women"). Interested to see what fresh hell awaits in the actual branching routes.
>>4441052Okay.... but you didnt literally write "I'm a woman who loves women" in your translation, did you? Literal translations are also pretty bad. These girls also dont speak English in the original so most words arent really gonna fit 1:1. Lesbian conveys the point without sounding awkward. Maybe use homosexual or "I love women" in short.
>>4441052Thank you for your service.
>>4441059I'm going to politely disagree with you there, "lesbian" is far too anachronistic a word for a character who is meant to be an 18th century Joseon noblewoman. Anyway, don't worry, I'm not taking my own creative liberties with the script. My goal is accuracy and I'm bending things only as needed in order to express a difficult to translate concept or a strange idiom that doesn't make sense in English, etc. I promise you it will be a huge improvement over what we got. Hoping it inspires more people to give the game a chance once I'm finished.
>>4441039Seems so, even the love interests showcase looks the same as the one in VP. Designs probably not final as most of the comments are either complaining about the MC hair or complaining about LIs being too plain.
>>4441061I dont consider writing the literal awkward sentence here an improvement. The word lesbian is not a Korean word to begin with. So what is the hang up with her not saying it? Might as well use the Korean term then if it upsets you. I already told you homosexual would be fine too. Anything but the literal word salad that sounds like its written by google translate.
>>4441062Yeah they all look a bit samey.
>>4441071The original text conveys the same meaning. There is a period-appropriare word for a lesbian that is specifically not used by Juhee in the specific scene I was talking about. She does in fact describe herself as a woman who loves only women. You're more than welcome to take a crack at it yourself if you disagree with the choices I'm making. Again I'm not taking my own creative liberties beyond striving to capture the intent and meaning of the script while ensuring that it sounds acceptable in English. I'm doing this because I love this game and I want people to be able to enjoy it thoroughly. I'll probably share the common route here when it's finished and edited while I continue to work on the branching routes. I will accept specific feedback then.
>>4441078At that point you might as wellale a translation thread.
>>4441062Oh they are themed after the Chinese zodiac? That's a nice concept. Monkey, Dragon and Hare kinda work.
>>4441026I have 230 hours played and I still have not ever finished the main quest. I usually give up after saving Valentine.
>>4441140People who say shit like this just sound retarded. It doesnt take much effort to finish the main quest and it unlocks several other questlines and changes the world in the endgame. Just get a fucking ending and stop pretending "I never even finished the main quest!" is somehow something to brag about like all those Skyrim losers do.
>>4441140>I have 230 hours played and I still have not ever finished the main questIs that not how you're supposed to play Bethesda games?
>>4441134They could use a more interesting design tho, only rabbit and dragon look interesting, monke could be a bit more tomboyish or wild
>>4441182We dont even know their full outfits, so I think that is a bit premature. Though I think if half the other ladies didnt have dark hair she would stand out more with her wild unkempt design.
It's probably old news but a lot of the adult yuri games on Steam probably won't be available in the UK anymore soon so you should get them while you can.
The regulator in the UK Ofcom says
https://www.ofcom.org.uk/online-safety/protecting-children/age-checks-for-online-safety--what-you-need-to-know-as-a-user
>As of 25 July 2025, all sites and apps that allow pornography will need to have strong age checks in place, to make sure children canโt access that or other harmful content.
Strong age checks is not a thing Steam has and even if they bother to implement it it probably won't be anytime soon.
>>4441190Always some stupid bullshit done in the name of protecting le hecking childrerinos, most of whom I bet weren't even asked if that's what they want.
>UKStupid bootleg americans.
>>4441204They'd rather do this kind of shit than combat actual rape (often times underage) gangs
>>4441190Sounds similar to what Germany and Brazil did. Steam basically just forces everyone to get age ratings on the games accoridng to those countries laws. If they don't the game will be unaccessible in that country.
This is fine for bigger publishers, but indies suffer the most from this, as it costs actualy money to get age ratings from these government rating agencies. It's a scam.
>>4441190Nothing a VPN won't fix.
>>4441215And get your account banned for trying to circunvent regional pricing?
>>4441215VPNs already dont work with Steam. You cant cheat the system, because you can fill your wallet or pay with a card in another currency unless you can prove you live in the other country now, which forces you to go through a rigorous process of changing everything about your account. And again, you need currency from that country, so make a bank account off-shore. Just to buy some games.
>>4441215You're not supposed to keep unfucking other's fuckups with your money.
>>4441215Just pirate your porn games like everyone else.
Or buy directly from the publisher, I guess.
>>4439631>it should have been PetraFixed.
>>4441215I tried. Doesn't work. Not on Steam. Like
>>4441227 said.
My wishlist has practically a whole section with "This item is not available in your region."
Sometimes when I am lucky other reseller sites provide the steam key or a download option for the game. Most of the time when I see a game that freshly came out and wanted to wait before I buy it until the next sale, it's region locked later. On some games in my library I can't even access the store page because it's region locked but everything else is fine like discussions or workshops. And no I can't buy every game on release because I'm poor and no I don't want to torrent it because I have integrity and want those devs to have the few bucks I can spare per month.
I know this is a question about a very niche yuri subcategory that's usually unpopular here, but does anyone happen to have any recs for good games with anthro girl major or main characters who get into, or are already in a canon relationship?
Deltarune is looking more and more like it's going to end up being yuribait or some shitty MC harem thing, so I badly need some other furry yuri couples that actually get together to get obsessively attached to.
>>4441290Deltarune's protag, like Frisk in Undertale, is not supposed to have a gender, so you couldn't believe there was any yuri from that direction... And one of your party members is a guy, so there isn't gonna be anything worthwhile from the secondary characters either.
Not sure where the yuribait comes in?
And yes, nobody here likes furryshit. That being said, several furry yuri games have been mentioned in the last few threads. I dunno, check out On Your Tail or something.
So progress has been a little slow, because I had to grind to beat some of the tougher bosses the last few chapters, but I managed to make it to the part where they meet the wolfdog for the first time, which according to the novel stuff I have seen is going to join them down the line.
Anyway, I'm slowly seeing a pattern. Lila is very aggressively into Filena and is not really hiding it at all, while Filena, either out of some weird insecurity or because she isn't really in touch with her sexuality seems to either not understand or purposely shies away from her advances. She does ALWAYS give in ultimately and I don't think it's because she is just weak willed. Objectively she should have left Lila in some safe place by now and continued her journey solo. But she always keeps Lila with her when she insists, which I think is pretty self-explanatory.
It's interesting how much Lila hyper-focuses on Filena being her husband, because it seems to give her a proper connection that she can hold on to. It makes Filena exclusive for her I suppose. It's interesting that she acts somewhat jealous both when men or women apporach Filena too. She seems to give men the benefit of the doubt at first though because she for some inexplicable reason truly seems to believe Filena's "disguise" works, despite it failing basically every single time a new character gets introduced.
>>4441293>Not sure where the yuribait comes in?One of the female characters, Noelle, has a massive crush on the female member of your team, Susie.
>>4441293>Deltarune's protag, like Frisk in Undertale, is not supposed to have a gender, so you couldn't believe there was any yuri from that direction...Undertale famously had a requirement to get two of the major female characters together in order to reach the best ending, yuri doesn't have to involve the protag.
>And one of your party members is a guy, so there isn't gonna be anything worthwhile from the secondary characters either.>Not sure where the yuribait comes in?As
>>4441318 said, Noelle is another girl who was supposedly a major character, and was strongly implied in the demo chapters to be getting into a relationship with the main girl, Susie, and to join the party with her later.
Unfortunately, in the new (paid) chapters she's mostly absent, and the MC was confirmed to have a crush on Susie and there were a lot of ship bait scenes between them.
The game's creator also just made a vague post that seemed to imply that getting people to draw ship art of of the MC and main girl was the plan all along, so that doesn't bode well at all.
>That being said, several furry yuri games have been mentioned in the last few threads. I dunno, check out On Your Tail or something.Thank you, that game looks charming, I'll look into it.
>>4441318>>4441324Calling subtext between a tertiary and secondary character yuribait is a bit of a stretch.
I know about Undyne and Alphys, but that is also just a side-ship. You can't rely on a demo(more like a teaser), which is always subject to change to tell you what the final game will do.
>>4441329I'd say it was a bit more than subtext (they went on a date in a heart-covered ferris wheel), but what you say about demos is true, sadly.

>>4441403>Downloaded it from some /u/ thread years ago.It was posted in this thread just last year I believe.
>>4441227You don't use VPN with your main account, you make a new one (matching the country and VPN), then buy steam wallet top-up from somewhere else, then buy the game on that VPN's account. Yeah, it's a pain.
>>4441403There is this post by the translator that says it has yuri but romance isn't the focus
https://bsky.app/profile/racra-translations.bsky.social/post/3lclspxpjqs25
It's also by the same guy who made Random Dungeon
>>4441521This literally doesn't address how I'm supposed to get a foreign currency. Not to mention I would have to pay for a permanent VPN then, because free ones keep changing.
Way too much effort to buy some games. Steam doesnt want my money, so I will just pirate what I can't get (unless the dev releases it somewhere else too).
>>4441526I know it's made by the guy who made Random Dungeon, that's why I'm asking if it has yuri in the first place. Because I know some other games on that list aren't.
But that statement is a bit vague, considering how massive the game is.
>>4441537>Blaming Steam when your government is the one making you unable to buy those games
>>4441557Steam's refusal to enact proper age restrictions/control is just as much to blame as those crusty politicians. Remember the whole "piracy is the result of bad service" thing?

>>4441558>Blaming Steam when your government is the one making you unable to buy those games
>>4441563Ah, the common shitposter. About as interesting as a pile of feces. I'm so tired of you losers. Not angry, just disappointed.
>>4441382You can take Susie on a date to the diner (and NTR Noelle in the process if you'd already initiated the sequence where you take Susie over to her house), and the narration in chapter 4 increasingly makes it sound like Kris is completely infatuated with her.
There's also the scene where Kris offers Susie their knife by pointing it straight at her, and Susie puts her hand over over the blade making Kris blush, which was so parodically phallic it made me facepalm.
If it's not an actual crush it's some really, really heavy-handed ship bait, for god knows what purpose other than causing politically charged fandom ship wars.
>>4441567This is totally interesting and all, but also really off-topic. I guess you could go to the Deltarune thread, because they will be more tolerant of this non-yuri talk there.

>>4441581I would say having to make a new Steam collection is a small price to pay to escape that hellhole.
Getting unlocalized JP officially is only getting harder these days, especially with what happened to DLsite a while ago. At least VPNs actually work there.
>>4436253I have added Princess and the Rose Knight and Zakuzaku Actors to the fan translation section.
I've also added a short Patcher section to the FAQ in case someone needs ressources for applying specific types of patch files.
This paste grows ever more complete.
In case someone needs context for the games, they are both RPGmaker games. One is created by the Random Dungeon dev, the other is made by the Hat World dev. So they have some good pedigrees for quality games and yuri.

Lila please! We talked about inflating your head in front of our new allies! Not cool.
Honestly I saw so many death flags for Amanela.. I'm shocked she survived and just gave us the dog. That's one tough woman, being able to fight armies just after childbirth. The whole tribe led by women succeeding where all rebellions led by men fail thing is a pretty clear message, especially for a story written in the late 80s.
Speaking of the baby, Lila seemed to be really into motherhood (while Filena literally tried to run from having to watch someone give birth lol) and then you get random lines like from this NPC. Makes you wonder if they will adopt children in the future.
>>4441190Last I heard the UK was considering 'can use a credit card' to be a potential form of proof so it might not actually be a problem for Steam. It's more of an issue on Discord atm because people use that free.
I played a bit of the Mechanical Fury demo.
It was okay, feels like a kinda shitty mix between Borderlands and Doom Eternal. Grappling into kicks on enemies felt really good and satisfying but the shooting was a bit boring and the artstyle is butt ugly.
Seems like an alright option for those of us who want more action with our lesbians and don't mind a bit of cringe and a low budget game but I didn't finish the demo myself and don't expect to play the full game.
Thank you for reading my crappy review, have a good day.
I'm so glad that I didn't buy Warhammer it's on the humble monthly choice
>>4442065So... where is the part about the yuri? It says on the Steam Store Page "Team up with your girlfriend" but what does it entail? Is she talking via the arm? Are they cutely flirting with each other?
I did it, I ended homophobia and racism in Azuma.
>>4442084Damn that is absolutely adorable.
>>4442042I'm curious/worried about how these scenes will translate in the LN.
>>4442072Dunno, I skipped the opening cutscene because I only play demos for the gameplay to see if I want to play it and I would rather experience the story when I play the full game.
But by what little dialogue there was during gameplay, I imagine it would be pretty lame and cringe.
Other anons with higher cringe tolerance will have to play the game and report back.

Obviously growing children from turnips isnt a normal thing people can do, so that means the universe itself is favoring lesbians and just gives them children without having to go through childbirth or anything. The universe really went "Damn these bitches gay, good for them! Have a child for free with all your genes lol"
Hetshitters could never.
>>4442102They have the genes of their parents actually. They will inherit traits of both mothers. So it actually would be incest.

Ohoho... I wonder if the novel ever got THIS excplicit! Lila already tried to make out with Filena before this (no body warmth sharing reasons involved), but for her to just spell it out... great. If this was just some game devs fanfiction after reading the books I'm all in on supporting this canon.
Of course right after this Lila almost dies, so Filena is too stunned to react, but after they somehow turn out to be fine this doesn't come up because plot is more important. Typical.
Not that there was any reason for Lila to risk her life, considering the old man literally right next to the palace said his mother was Filoseran, making him a Filoseran descendant lol
Still, this is a standard JRPG from 1995 and it has lesbian confession in it. That is insanely rare for the time outside of doujin games or porn games like Night Slave (which came out a couple of years before this). Historic.
>>4442428My heart can't take love declarations. They are always so very precious and must be protected at all times. It's ten times better than the "I like you" confessions or the daisuki / aishteru they pull in japanese.

>>4442381I had forgotten how often/adamant Lila is in repeating her wife status in the game. I wonder if she'll eventually do that in the LN as well, currently it's more understood of as a temporary arrangement by both of them with hints of an internal conflict about that both in the narrative and the characters.
>>4442428yeah, no matter how the LN turns out the game will always be my main canon.
>>4442428I think Lila's love being explicit and Filena warming up to her as the game progresses is made all the better when you remember the game also flat out rejected any opportunity for het. Nest works with Filena and "ironically" wishes she were a woman? Cool, he's banished from the majority story and never brings up a possible crush again. New guy Laris starts crushing on Filena instead? Well he's in your party for about 30 minutes before getting killed. Lila though, the slave girl Filena is given who doesn't need to stay with her once they escape the very first town? Yeah she never leaves the party and is the endgame relationship.
The game is definitely my main canon as well, but if nothing else Akemi Takada's art for the novels is nice additional material.
>>4442517Woah, cute. Where are you getting these pics
>>4442517 I haven't read mch of the two translated volumes yet, but I do appreciate the additional context and better writing. While I'm uncertain the romance will pan out as explicitely, the game is after all more of a Saturday Morning cartoon version of the story. I think this world has a lot of interesting dynamics and pathos that the game isn't really conveying.
Also while Nest definitely has no business crushing on Filena, he's actually pretty cool dude. He's the only Imperial in the game who is actually on the rebellion's side, though I'm sure the novel will have more nuanced characters like that.
I hope the novel's final plot polint isnt going around the country activating light houses though... that's kinda dumb.
>>4442451I mean if you ever get to the point in Japanese of using "aishiteru" that is a pretty damn serious confession. Aishiteru is not treated as a "I like you" that is definitely "I LOVE YOU" in all caps. Which is why people irl don't use it much. It's over the top.
>>4442537It's art from the Light Novels.
Has anyone tried tainted grail? I saw it was in Hella Yuris list but idk
>>4442633I think some anons did. At least they confirmed the (minor) yuri it has.
>>4442635Is it like on par with Skyrim type yuri cuz I guess I can deal with that.
>>4442637They said you can romance a noble lady and live at her castle or something. So that is sort of like Skyrim marriage I suppose.
Also one anon said you can romance a mermaid? But apparently she kills you.
>>4442638I kinda like that.....
Hmmm I'll consider it then. I'm longing for some yuri but I'm not in the mood for vns.
>>4442639You're really spoiled for choice with how many yuri games there are now. You don't need to resort to the bare minimum anymore.
>>4442641I still feel like the majority are just vns tho.
But that does remind me I need to check out Sorry We're Closed
>>4442642What an inane response... even if the majority was VNs that doesnt change the fact that there is a huge amount of "normal" games with yuri now. Why do you need an arbitrary percentage?
>Sorry We're ClosedYou really dont come to these threads often do you?
>>4442645No I don't, half the time the thread is arguing about pointless stuff.
Would you not recommend sorry we're closed?
>>4442647Go through the threads you dont wanna engage with and find out. Ctrl + F is your friend.
Or just play it anyway.
>>4442625The LN so far has been a interesting read but threats to the yuri are highlighted way more than the game. Not recommended for a purist unless you go into it with the mindset of understanding the context from which the game was made: the male characters roles are much elevated compared to the game. The author's intention / mindset has been fascinating to see some of / speculate on. It doesn't feel like he knows how/ what he want's for their relationship or the expectation (reader/ author & characters) that they find men eventually that both characters lean on in subtly different ways... But he also has Lila kiss Filena to 'share body warmth' and does other things that seem to elevate her narratively to seemingly love interest status. I hope they can resolve to be together in the LN as well but we'll see, there's comphet and Filena's gender issues aplenty.
>>4436249 (OP)Reminder that we are halfway through the Steam Summer Sale. Check out this summer sale yuri game list if you are feeling lost on what to buy!
>>4439770
>>4442649I watched the OVA which is basically volume 1 of the LN and while I see the elevated male plot involvement, I didn't get any sense of real "danger to the yuri".
Also yeah Filena's gender is kind of the central plot device, so I expect it to matter. But it can mostly just be beneficial to us, because most men assume Filena is a guy (even if they keep finding out she isnt somehow, it's a real mystery!). Meanwhile Lila knows she is a woman from like minute 2 and wants to stick with her regardless.
>>4442650Thank you. Little Known Galaxy also has a bit of yuri
>>4442652If you read the LN you will probably understand. I started the LN with the knowledge from the yuri history thread that the game was the 'most yuri version of the story' I feel that was good context for my expectations of the LN. In novel 2 the mountain guy/ mountain civilization is an on the nose foil for Filena and Filosera, and Filena explicitly sees in him the chance to be the woman she was denied by her upbringing. The interest in the LN is on her side not his: she reveals herself to him, propositions him but is rejected. She then returns to Lila who stayed awake, realized what she was doing and is shocked she was turned down and consoles her that she is not a bad woman.
On the one hand this is objectively awful from a yuri perspective and the way Filena is contrasted with mountain guy both in this exchange and previously is not really in her favor in a way I did not enjoy. But on the other hand in a backhanded way things are still simmering here as Lila is portrayed as understanding of Filena but somewhat uncomfortable with it at the same time. For Filena's part she seeks in Lila the comfort she did not find in him, but is depressed that she must 'become a man again'. And then just before the guy dies he tells Filena he does like her so he want's her to live and tells Lila he's leaving Filena to her. Its a double edged sword of elevating Lila towards love interest through contrast with a more explicit male love interest.
Lila also has internal monologues during her talk with Filena that could read as an eroding comphet perspective. To me this has juicy narrative potential despite my distaste for this version of the mountain dude plot.
It's an incredibly mixed bag yuri wise. I have no idea how far the pendulum will be allowed to swing in a yuri direction overall and the threat is very real. But to me it's fascinating to follow and knowing we got the game out of it takes the bite out of any potential disappointment.
>>4442675But thanks to the review posted here before we already know neither Filena nor Lila are actually going to get with any man by the end. Even if we also have to assume there is enough plausible deniability to say they arent in together either.
That's why I dont feel much of a threat per se.
>>4442654Define " a bit".
>>4442537all the novels and their illustrations are on the archive.

>>4442625I like nest well enough, I think his brief crush on Filena speaks more to the delays the game had and the fact that it was being made before the novels had ended as apparently Nest gets together with a nurse character later in the LN. Maybe the devs thought he was going to have a bigger role with Filena and as time went on and that didn't happen they said fuck it, lets just go 100% with Lila then. Whatever happened behind the scenes it worked out well for the rest of us.
>>4442698I do kinda like that in the game at least his crush boils down to "Whoa why am I feeling so weird around you dude? I swear I'm not gay."
And once he finds out he is like "Oh shit that explains it" and never brings it up again and even on their reunion is 100% only focused on taking down the empire. That's probably the best you can hope for with a male party member (who doesnt die 20 minutes after being introduced like the others).
In the OVA the whole plot of him looking after Lila while Filena was busy fighting like 200 dudes was also alright. It ends with Lila being too worried about Filena to hang back which is cute.

There's a playlist of romances it's not like super deep but I enjoyed it.
You can ask people out on dates, propose to them and get married with an official wedding.
>>4442729That's a lot more than some of the games on this list provide, so I wouldnt even call it a little. Especially as there are multiple female LIs.
Gonna add it to the sales list then.
I dunno if this is relevant news, but Nexusmods, the major modding site, was bought and will be going through some changes soon. Specifically they will try to adapt to the laws of countries more, meaning probably age verification and also banning "illegal" content. So if there are any yuri mods you are using that involve lolicon shit or rape you might wanna download them before they are gone.
PS: They are not getting rid of adult mods or fetish shit. It will just be tagged and sorted more appropiately. But the really nasty stuff is gonna go.

>objecting to the idea that the series has always been dedicated to pure hetshitYou could always get non-romantic endings in PM, they just aren't usually considered any good. Doesn't really change the fact that all the major endings are based on het marriage and they can't help themselves and have to keep adding "marry the father" endings.

Fields of Mistria is adding romance on the 21st, is it worth getting now and then waiting?
I was kinda eyeing horizon forbidden west and keykocker
>>4442962What a weird question. As long as it's in EA it's not worth playing. Pretty simple.
Forbidden West is a sequel, so unless you played the first one that's pointless.
Keylocker is finished, so that is your best option I guess. But getting the romance you want required following a guide last time I checked, because it was somewhat bugged. Maybe check if they patched that first.
>>4442963I played the first one somewhat. I enjoyed it but never finished. I figured I'd just look up a synopsis
>>4442964I figure you finish that game or just don't even think about playing the sequel.
>>4442965They're that closely tied together? Damn. Alright I'll consider it then. Thank you
>>4442966The sequel literally begins right after the first one ends, using the ending of that game as the plot catalyst of the next. There is considerably less impact if you forgot literally every plot point and character in it.
Also I hate idiots who read a synopsis and think they actually understand the plot of a game or its characters afterwards, but that's just me. If you want to be completely lost on all reoccuring characters and plot elements, then go ahead.
>>4442967I played the first one so I decided to get Forbidden West, I never romanced the king yet the game assume him to be the main romance for the first one. That being said there is a bit of flirting between Ally and Alva in Forbidden West as well, but itโs kinda disappointing that thereโs no save transfer feature.
>>4442962Fields of Mistria left a good impression on me even at early access launch, and thatโs comparing it to a dozen farming sims later. The animations were smooth, weekly character-building tavern events were fun, and the portrait artstyle was consistent and good-looking. Fair amount of qol such as adjustable day length, no refilling water can, always open shops, and a persistent, accessible wardrobe.
If itโs on sale and stardew or farming sims are your jam, I recommend it. Might be worth checking if the price will go up out of EA
>>4442992The game doesn't assume he was "the main love interest", because Zero Dawn had no love interest. There were several characters who had a crush on Alloy, but she never reciprocated. The king is one of them, which is why he obviously addresses this at the beginning of this game where you leave the Sun Kingdom behind. Alloy is clearly very uncomfortable with the whole situation even if you pick the extremely out of character heart option which at most leaves the door open for a later reassessment of their feelings. Let's just be happy Avad is a good sport about being clearly let down easy.
>it's kinda disappointing that there is no save transfer featureWhat would be the purpose of that? Transfering gear? FW starts you from level 1. Although you start with more weapons and a weak used up version of the ultimate energy shield armor of the first game. Basically the explain away why Alloy lost all her gear with her off-screen journey across the world to find a solution to the impending end of the world.
>>4442993Buyiong EA games just means paying who knows how long ahead of a game's real release. Basically a pre-order that lets you become a beta tester. That might be fine if you are absolutely desperate for a game and want to be involved with it from step 1, but there is no lack of farming sims around.
Speaking of Horizon, when the third game finally comes out what would be the best thing for them to do romance wise?
1. Give her several love interests to pick from?
This will definitely mean they are most likely to give male romance options which they sort of set up even if not very believably (Aloy friendzoned them all). On the upside this would open up the option for popular women in the prior games to get another shot. Talanah for example could rebound with Aloy after how her quest in FW ended.
2. Make Seyka the canon love interest?
Romance in Horizon has been very set in stone and written without much uncertainty. The fact that Seyka was set up as Aloy's love interest makes it seem almost guaranteed that she would be the endgame, unless she gets killed off for drama. On the other hand Seyka had very littel involvement with the main plot and might not go over well with long time fans.
>>4443024>when the third game finally comes outIt won't.
>>4443027I honestly don't even know what you're trying to do here. Is this a funny? I can't tell because nobody is laughing. Where is the laugh track?
>>4443028>I honestly don't even know what you're trying to do here.I'm reminding people that we won't get a third Horizon game due to several reasons.
>>4443024It's been a while since I played Forbidden West but I dont really recall Horizon giving player meaningful choices.
Even the option to kill a certain NPC in Zero Dawn ended up being considered non-canon since he proved to be quite popular, relatively speaking for a minor NPC of course, and ended up making a return in FW
So unless they change their entire design philosophy, which isnt impossible, I'm not really counting on romance choices to be there. I think they want to tell a story and theyre just gonna do it.
As far as who she's gonna end up with, honestly I dont fucking know. Obviously with Liz being a DYKE and the Seyka moment, it's looking like Aloy will probably end up with a girl too but to be honest, and I say this with the utter most care and as someone who has been in this this god forsaken fandom known as yuri since 2005, I really wouldnt be that upset if she didn't, for various reasons I dont think are all that relevant for /u/
>>4443029None of which you will mention because nobody cares to hear them. I really wish you came with a laugh track so I could know when to laugh. Right now I'm just mildly uninterested. Indifferent even.
>>4443032>I dont really recall Horizon giving player meaningful choicesThat is certainly true on a macro level, as story plot points are 100% scripted and unchangable, however, FW in particular added minor dialogue choices that could sometimes affect how Aloy reacts. In particular kissing Seyka at the end of the Burning Shores DLC was an optional dialogue choice.
I think the change to giving the player options would not inherently change their designs philosophy, so much as expand on what they already teased. The third part of a trilogy has the advantage of a certain finality, which allows for drastic choices to be made because they won't have to be taken into consideration in another sequel. That's why for just one game, it is not too farfetched to offer several romance options for the epilogue etc. where it can be ressource efficient too!
>it's looking like Aloy will probably end up with a girl>I really wouldnt be that upset if she didn'tWhile I cannot fathom why anybody would be okay with that outcome or consider it satisfactory, economically I can understand the hero resting at the end of the journey with some threads left hanging. It leaves room for the audience to fill in the remaining blanks however they wish, which is generally the safest route for a product.
Of course there is always the possibility that Aloy goes for the heroci sacrifice ending, which would contradict some of the themes the series has set up, but is never out of the question when the writer has cornered themselves enough.
>>4443024I would rather it's canon than optional yuri.
>>4443032The biggest thing was probably when you could spare the rebel antagonist lady and she would go with you on the final mission. Just too bad she dies anyway.
>>4442962I've enjoyed what I've played so far, but I'd personally wait until they fully add in the last female romance option (unless you know that you like farming games enough to start over). It gets frequent enough sales.
I'm considering getting Wylde Flowers
It's overwhelmingly positive on steam and has two romance options
>>4443327Just another farming sim on the pile. Is there anything that makes it unique? It looks super generic.
>>4443418I like farming......I guess I was torn between that and roots of placha but that one has better reviews so
>>4443419Roots of Pacha is at least slightly more unique, if only for the perspective and scale. Wylde Flowers looks like at least 5 other farming sims I've seen in this sale.
Like how is this more interesting than My Time At Sandrock, My Time At Portia, Harvest Moon Winds of Athos, Coral Island or Palia (which is actally free)? All lf these are 3D farming sims with either SD designs or the same vibe.
Farming sims take like a 80 hours minimum if you really invest yourself, so I can't fathom someone playing those one after another. I'd really sort out the unique gems and focus only on those.
>>4443421You seem to feel real strongly about it anon. Then what are the supposed "best" and "unique" farming sims?
>>4437684Anyone tried this out to see if the game is good/yuri is satisfying? Price still scaring me off.
>>4443426I dunno, stuff like Rune Factory. Stardew Valley is popular for a reason among the 2D pixel farming sims. Tales of Seikyu shows promise. If you want to go for more traditional stuff Story of Seasons games are a lot more poished than most of these indies.
Alright I managed to beat Eternal Filena. The final stretch of the game was kind of a fever dream. Things just kinda kept happening out of nowhere. I can't even tell if half of this stuff was made up by the game devs, because nothing is explained!
I heard that the whole big twist of the story was that robots from space secretly had controlled the evil empire all along and I guess they sort of implied that? Especially with the replicant talk and all (of course this was written around the time of Bladerunner).
But what the heck is the random floating fetus about? The spirit of hatred? That stuff is just completely baffling. Those have nothing to do with robots.
Oh well, we won! By putting some pot into the ocean that somehow fixed everything. I love how they keep talking about some weird ocean polution yet never show any of it or its effects.
There was some optional NPC dialogue about how "pureblooded" imperial citizens are super weak to the slightest pollution so they couldn't even touch the sea, which is the symbol of Filosera, but that just gives me totally mixed messages now.
I thought this was mostly a story about rising up from slavery, but in the end there were so many random themes thrown in that I'm really curious how the novels will make it make sense. That just makes me look forward to them more!
>>4443441Now for what actually matters, our lesbian main ship.
I really like how most of the battle dialogue was Filena telling Lila not to give up or Lila encouraging Filena to finish the mission while they take care of the rest. I would have loved mored battle dialogue in general.
After the battle's done the epilogue is mostly completely wordless, but you can still easily tell what they were going for. When Filena says they need to rebuild Filosera while looking at Lila (and how it is mirrored with Hunter and his doggy girlfriend looking at each other the same way), that was already plenty. But then they show Filna and Lila sitting on the royal thrones, which confirms they are now the royal couple. Amazing.
And then they dedicate an entire section to Lila dragging Filena in front of mirror to put her into a dress. That was way too adorable.
I think this scene really showed the difference in interpretation of Filena in the game compared to the novels though. In the game Filena is embarrassed to wear a dress and runs away from the castle in her male Battler outfit while Lila chases her to drag her back. This seems really different from Filena in the novels who regrets having to pretend to be a man and wants to be a woman so bad.
In the end it is very light hearted, but the relationship is genuinely adorable and well executed. Probably the only thing the game truly does well.
I enjoyed this historic blast from the past. It's still crazy I never knew of this until super recently. Long live the queens!
>>4443434Slogging through it slowly. On the game side, I would place it around the same level as Dark Deity 1: visually quite pretty (as much as SRPG Studio allows it to be), clearly passionate devs and fun ideas for character builds (replace reclassing with a large amount of gimmicky items, weapons and staves and a decent supply of repairs for them) bogged down with functional-at-best story, SRPG Studio jank and gameplay mancaments.
Most importantly, the game is slow as shit, with large maps and rather slow units - you get relatively early on movement skills helping this somewhat but 4 base movement still makes you waste a bunch of turns on moving your thief toward chests or cheeking every weird looking tile for secret loot. XP gain and weapon ranks are also slowed to a crawl which damps the excitement for getting afromentioned loot as you won't be able to use the fancy new gun on the character you want for half the game. It's still perfectly serviceable game but the pacing it its worst flaw.
On the yuri front, I haven't played enough to get romantic supports but they're decently promising. The title character has a few story occasions to have a heart-to-heart with one of her love interests, 2 male and 2 female, which makes the eventual romance feel a tad deeper than a usual support chain. By chapter 9 so you have additional 3 possible yuri pairs between side characters so it's possible to run a majority lesbian team by early mid-game (and the forcefully deployed player character, who reeks of being a poorly thought off Kickstarter stretch goal and is promptly forgotten after 2 chapters).
In short, just play FE romhacks and wait for a sale. Like DD1 that I compared it to, it's decent attempt and I believe the devs have enough ability to do something better in the future, but SRPG Studio is an horrendous engine no matter how many pretty animations you add
>>4443027It will.

Suzu and Kotaro still look like kids ten years on. Then again, you could also move time forward that much on your own by spamming sleep each day so it's understandable they never change character models or really acknowledge the passage of time.

>>4436250>Adult Life Yuri Bundle by Team ANPIM announced for July 8th (VN with 4 adult yuri stories) And it's free
>>4444571Correct. The Adult Life yuri bundle is now out, a VN with 4 adult yuri stories! And it is indeed free. Cost nothing, nada, zilch.
There is no excuse not to add this to your library everyone.

>>4444635It's nice to have it in a launcher and everything. Super cool to find out it was free too
I wanted to wait before posting it but there are no new updates but the sales are over soon.
Hope you enjoyed your games.
If you are still missing "Witch & Lilies" in your Library now is a good time to get it.
It's 30% off!
It's my duty to shill this game until it gets out of EA.

>>4445033I've been meaning to get back into this since the dungeon conversations got added. I'll probably start from scratch though.
I know there were vague promises of new classes being added, any word on that?

Are there "mandatory" mods for /u/, besides the one fixing Shadowheart's ugly default hair?
>>4445041You got the only mod that's pointless I see...
Look at the mod list in the OP and decide for yourself. The ones tagged "necessary" are a good start, because they are bug fixes.
If you need someone to tell you what to look at for some reason, look at the Minthara mods on the list. She is by far the most affected by bugged and cut content.
Roughly a day left of the Steam Summer sale. Last chance to get the games on this list discounted
>>4439770
>>4445038Sadly no, not as far as I know. It's pure silence since the last update [28.04.] (they must be working on something big - trust the plan). Steam community is also getting anxious about it.
>>4445041Not /u/ per se, but Auto-Sell Loot and Auto Send Food to Camp mods made my life a lot easier.
>>4445145That's not a /u/ mod.
Before the sale runs out, can anyone recommend Dungeon Dreams 2? You can create a femC and date girls in this and it seems to focus heavily on the dating sim aspect. Also has a DLC that adds even more romance content it seems.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1843470/Dungeon_Dreams_2/
It came out last year but I don't remember anyone talking about it.
>>4442744>>4442747Finished a run for /u/ (really because I was bored since you can already see the marriage CG in the Steam forums).
The game's quite barebones at the moment - only one yearly contest and explorable arena out of four, two love interests for the daughter, combat being simplistic as hell and getting passive income from the farm while the building was locked the entire playthrough were the most obvious issues. The devs seem to notice it too, as the run ends when the daughter is 14 years old while the "Vacance Album" (the translation is readable but has some errors) shows planned CGs for another 4 years and the amount of times you have to visit one job/training to get it's highest rank seems to be balanced around that lenght.
You can play as the mother, which is a plus. After his introductory event, you can completely ignore the male love interest. Getting your daughter a GF in Clivia involves grinding her affection when she appears in one of three activities by talking in repeatable events and gifting her statboosters. Later, you have to explore the arena to reach its landmarks. Nothing groundbreaking, but functional enought - even if there should be more variety in the activities' events.
It's a bit funny how your daughter thinks of Clivia as a friend seconds before getting proposed while Clivia is such a raging lesbian her bond with daughter is what fuels her magic powers. Still, you get two CGs, Clivia commenting on your daughter's job and the ability to use the marriage ending as a minor buff as a element of the game's roguelite system.
I would hold on buying it right now unless you're really into watching numbers go up but it's promising enough start.
>>4445415They look adorable together. My heart is melting.
>You can play as the mother, which is a plus. That's an extra point.
Good stuff. Thanks for the review.
>>4445415I mean yeah, it's a Early Access game that just released. Obviously it's going to be barebones.
It's honestly nice that even with just two current love interests they already gave you the dyke path.
>>4445415>You can play as the motherIncredible
>>4441643>Random DungeonQuite fun. Often I'd wonder how many more non-english indie yuri are hiding out there
>>4445415I think the marriage partner commenting on your profession ending is a neat idea. I don't think this has been done before.
One of the few things VP didn't do so well is deal with the dissonance between some of the profession endings and romance ending slides. Like how can the daughter be the Demon Queen and also have a chill time living with her two wives in the city?
>>4436249 (OP)I've been looking at the emulators in the rentry link and downloaded the PSVita emulator. Are there any good yuri games for the Vita?`I know it has ports of the Nurse Love games but maybe something more exclusive?
>>4445667This may come as surprise to you, but Vita has no games.
>>4445667>>4445668I love how the rentry anon predicted that joke and already wrote "Yes the Vita had games" preemptively in the paste.
The Vita can play basically and PSP or PS1/2 game so you could theoretically list every yuri game on those platforms, but I'm looking for more original content. A lot of Neptunia games used to be Vita exclusive for a while. Some of them have been ported to Steam only many years later.
Even Vita exclusives like Freedom Wars or Gravity Rush got ported to PS4/5 eventually as a remaster.
Frankly I don't think there are any English Vita games left that aren't ported or re-released in some way. I do know the Vita was a huge platform for a bunch of Japanese indies and VNs though. Maybe there is something there.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3333600/The_Mysterious_Thief_Forget_Me_Not/
I remember someone saying this VN isn't that great for the yuri, because the main couple's romance isn't really the focus. Seems they added a free epilogue update that focuses on their relationship post main story.
>>4445667It's not quite yuri, but when am I ever gonna bring this game up anywhere? World Uniform Costume Fes is a card battler on the Vita set in a world where all men died from a virus and only girls are left. Those girls fight wars via cosplay. So they tear cosplay outfits from each others' bodies and force each other to dress in the outfits of their faction.
By necessity this world is exclusively yuri, as males don't exist. And girls undressing each other is pretty gay. I don't think it even has a proper story mode though, so there is no chance for any romance.
>>4445667Whether or not this qualifies as a "good" game is debatable, but since we're talking about the Vita, there is technically a VN that comes to mind. It is otome and only available in Japanese (to my knowledge), but as a baseline, the protagonist is female and there are two heroine routes that can end romantically.
https://vndb.org/v15248
The preceding game also had two female routes (more like 2.5, I guess, if you include the extra Rapunzel ending) but they were not really romantic. This one is a bit more explicit, at least with the endings. Be warned however that the common route is extremely long. Some other anons have also talked about it in past threads; I would recommend checking the archive if you are interested. It's been a couple of years since I read it, so I don't trust myself to remember every nuance.
>>44458052 heroines vs. 7 dudebros is a bit uneven, but otome usually only do one heroine max, so this is sort of better than average!
Long common route means having to suffer through a lot of male flirting doesnt it? I guess it's bearable if the story is good an the two f/f routes are satisfying enough to carry the whole game? Because if this is a "you need to play every route for the true full picture" deal I would decline.
I don't mind it being JP only though. The cool thing about using a Vita emulator is that I can use my OCR on this version.
>>4445825Both this game and its predecessor had an "arc" system where certain routes would align with certain main story arcs, and mutliple playthroughs were required to unlock later arcs and their respective character routes. The first game had one heroine route on each of the two main arcs (Rapunzel on the Witch arc, and Thorn Princess on the Demon Lord arc), so that wasn't a problem... but this one has both heroines on the first arc and if I recall correctly this game has three arcs. /u/ definitely doesn't get the full story, so if that's a big flag for you, then I'd honestly avoid it. I also seem to recall the two heroine routes emphasizing the "adventure" aspect far stronger than the "romance" aspect as well, so whether or not they're enough to offset the negatives will amount to a personal decision.
For what it's worth, though, I don't remember there being much flirting on the part of the male cast (barring the Ugly Duckling, at least, who is mostly used as comic relief in the common route anyway).
>>4445888You said the first game's heroine paths weren't even yuri though, so it matters little. And I definitely dont appreciate geting 1/3rd of the story if I dont pick dudes. Skip.
So I picked up pillars 2, I'm playing as a fire godlike chanter/paladin. It's fun so far. I'm still pretty early in but I'm happy I picked it up.
>>4446023Glad to hear it. It's a good game, even if not the most original.
>>4436253Speaking of Pillars of Eternity 2, I just finished adding it to the mod list.
Just as an aside, for some reason there are like 6 different nude mods. What is wrong with this community and their obssession with hairy muffs?
>>4446023Sorry about the timing. I don't know if you're the type who doesn't like playing with mods on your first run. Some of these are probably work mid playthrough too.
>>4446092I can certainly test them out if they're not too game changing!
>>4446123The general mods do change a lot (mostly for the better general experience tho), especially the community patch.
I recommend the mods for the companions that make more dialogue available. Also the one that better paces Xoti's quest. If you are into poly stuff there is the option to date Xoti and Maia while also letting them romance each other. That basically means experiencing all possible yuri in one playthrough.
>>4446129Ooh I see. Well, I guess if I have to restart I'm not really far. I spent like 2 hours on looking up builds and choosing my poe1 things. I haven't even boarded the ship again since we crashed. I just got done with some of the side quests.
I can just export my character and start over, no biggie!

>>4446216Another ebihime game? She's been busy.
>>4436249 (OP)>>4436253I've added two more games to the mod paste. This time it's mostly model swaps, but with a lot of extra effort. The games are Dragon Quest XI S and the classic Ghosts 'n Ghouls for the SNES!
First for Dragon Quest, basically there are 3 mods that turn your game into a perfect femC experience. The first mod changes the entire script to make sure the protagonist is refered to as a girl by everyone. It even cuts minor exchanges that only make sense for boys and adds some flavor text for girlier implications.
The second mod makes it so that your newly female protag can actually wear female outfits and use female gear.
The third is a list of several ways to get a female model for your protag. There are two major routes. Either you get the NPC model swapper and pick any female NPC from the game or you pick one of the female models made by the community. I added two of the better ones I found.
Dragon Quest XI S has a marriage option post game where you can marry your party members and live with them in your rebuild village. That being said, the only character who really acts like you are a married couple is the Luminary's childhood friend Gemma, who is a village maiden. So whether you think the other "romance options" are legit or not, with Gemma being the default love interest this game is now yuri. There is a lot of build up for that relationship in the game mind you, it's not just tacked on.
>>4446326As fro Ghosts 'n Ghouls, anybody who knows the classic Ghost 'n Goblins series knows its about knight Arthur saving his lover, the princess. However this Grils Sprite Plus mod changes Arthur's sprites for that of the maiden, a girl that Arther can temporarily be turned into by the evil wizard as a debuff. Except now she is a hyper capable lesbian with unique armor designs!
As a bonus I added a hack that restores the Japanese version's art design that was censored and fixes the extreme slowdown the game had outside the JP version. This hack is compatible with Girl Hack, you just need to patch the rom with the Restoration hack first.
If you don't know how to patch roms, please refer to the "Patcher" section in the paste. The Romhackplaza online patcher works perfectly without issue and is as easy as selecting the two files and pressing a button.

>>4445415Great to know, I might get it just to support the development, hopefully it keeps delivering
>>4446355whoa really nice website
>>4446421I'd take some of the recommendations with a grain of salt. They are recommending quite a few subtext anime and manga like LycoReco as if it was yuri and they even recommended the garbae SasaKoi anime adaptation. So with that in mind it makes me question their recs on movies I don't know anything about.
At best this is a good ressource for goling in the general right direction if you're new to yuri.
>>4446433>SasaKoi anime adaptationWhose only crime is being budget as fuck.
Even by QUALITY standards it's nowhere near the most infamous or uniquely bad. Either way it does its job: get people to read the manga
>>4446443Please don't troll. There is a reason that anime is the laughing stock of every yuri community and outright despised. It straight up ruins one of the best yuri manga of all time. If anything it makes people NOT want to read the manga after a few episodes. Not to mention that despite being terrible rubbish that straight up cuts out 90% of the yuri from the story, it still spoils the main plot points, which is not how you should experience this story first. There is a reason animators walked out the studio shut down. This anime should never have happened.
Sure, technically shit like the NTR anime adaptation is even worse, but that was a trashfire story to begin with so it wasn't a real loss.
>>4446433Resource, not "ressource".
>>4446472I doos whats I wants.
>>4446326I don't need mods to ship Veronica and Serena.

Everything else ranges from decent to great. I would say 5 misses out of 40 shots is pretty good. I appro e of this list. Even if it contains several untranslated games.
Apparently Crystal Dynamics was contracted to help develop Perfect Dark
With the cancellation of the project and the termination of the contract, I am now (foolishly) hoping the next Tomb Raider game will receive the studio's full attention and come out soon, and be gay.
>>4446705That's some platinum grade hopium right there.
>>4446705>they will focus on Tomb Raider>I hope it will be gayThose things aren't related. What a weird leap.
>>4446355What's with all the Chinese stuff? Is it just the author's bias, or is there really a ton of Chinese yuri out there?
>>4446355AI article and AI post
>>4447140Gee, I wonder? Could it be that the author might be Chinese? But I don't know what you are talking about. There are only 5 Chinese games on the list. The Linghua series is pretty popular, so it's not surprising to see here. Desert Blossom and Fruitless Flower are indeed pretty new though.
