hmmm to heavy? its mlok time then. Chuck your favorite G$ rail on there and go for a low profile gas block instead and save the flip up for something else. An MCMR is also a decent option which will weigh nothing, also maybe consider a raider rail although I dont have experience with those so idk how they feel/weigh

its not a phase mom! I consider having foregrips to have been my weird phase. In the field it just locks my hand into a position that is never comfortable at the time. Sometimes I want my hand more forward, sometimes more rearward. Depends on my mood, energy level, and need for accuracy. This is also effected by shooting position as well.

Not that I want to start throwing poop at other anons but guys with foregrips on here really are subtly exposing whether they have hiked with their rifle or not depending on where the foregrip is lol
