Cyberpunk themes have more short attention span normalfag appeal because it usually incorporates violence, sex and transgenderism, you know, the kind of things that appeals to your average American consumer. Space barely appeals to anyone but dorks unless it has fantasy themes and hot alien girls to romance, which Starfield barely has the former and doesn't even have the latter without the aid of mods. Starfield in a sense is almost the equivalent a 90s interactive learning PC game like Math Blaster but is open world and intended for adults, and is maybe also the equivalent of your high school forcing you to attend a lecture on Astronomy. I mean sure, you get to learn about some shit regarding space, yet it's boring to most people, and honestly unnecessary unless you want to pursue that field and join an Astronaut program where you get to fly up to some space station orbiting Earth and spend months or years there looking at planets and stars.
