It’s not entirely surprising, chaos dwarves existed as a baseline and has ravening horse rules (in 6th) faction where the coast was only released with the lustria world campaign, a warhammer annual and white dwarf.
Apart from those units I mentioned tomb kings are pretty good for appropriating the rules though
