There are two basic ways, one is seeking for help with AA or something like that, don't stop drinking yet, just learn about the possibilities of not drinking, seeing people who have accomplished something you still can't might be the final push you need to stop.
Mingle and talk to people who stopped, it will help you reimagine yourself without booze.
The other way is basically a crusade against yourself.
You have to go somewhere where no alcohol can be found, leave any form of communication device that might help you get some.
And wait until the urge stops, might be up to a month though many feel better after a couple of weeks.
Your nervous system will be sort of collapsed, so take some opioids.
They will help, but if you abuse them.
You are just hooping on another train.
If you manage to stop drinking accept the fact that you are a new man.
Remake your routines and include exercises in the open preferably
Addictive stuff like alcohol can be controlled, you just need a fresh start.
