No, not really, especially if you are riding around on your horse and the enemy gets that massive speed bonus on hit. There is no reason that a rock thrown by a peasant should be doing 10 damage to me, if not more, while I wear some of the best armor of the Calradic Empire.

LMFAO. Yes, yes it does. Most of the AI in game will literally stand around and barely move when infantry lines clash and you can one or two tap them with a two hander, or 3-4 tap them with a 1h-sword if your skill is high enough.
