The 4090 coil whine issues (from what I've heard) were so funny. I was feeling good, just got a new job, prepared to splurge on whatever the best 4090 model was. But after researching it, it seemed the Gigabyte Gaming OC supposedly had the lowest chance of coil whine, despite being one of the cheapest models. So after spending a while staring at models priced over $2,000, spending $1,700 (roughly the price of my last PC) on a GPU actually didn't seem too bad.
I'm bad at storytelling, it was funny to me though.
