The original Record of the Lodoss War was the transcript of an actual D&D game that was played by some japs and published in a table top gaming magazine. Back in the day (early 2004 or late 2003 if I recall) there was a guy on /b/ who had managed to collect those old magazines and was slowly translating them. They were fucking hilarious because the woman playing Deedlit was an absolute troll who fucked with the party so hard that the guy playing Parn got killed in the first session because of her bullshit forcing the DM to roll it back for a retry after a strong warning for the Deedlit player.

I wish someone had saved those translations because they were absolutely hilarious.
