Bahahahahaha now this is a story to tell

>See a 10km flag that's backwards
>And a 5km flag further down

>They tell me it loops back if I need to go down the correct way
>Mistook it as I fucked up rather than it was the right way
>Try and right the wrong by going off track and looping all the way around another 500m to the mass crowds and follow them
>Get taken back to the same spot
>Turns out the 5km flag I saw was the 2km but the wind flipped it backwards
>Still complete my first HM in under 1:42
Words cannot describe how fucked in the head I am, and to think my first could've been in the mid 1:30s
That is elite considering the handicap (my brain), cannot stop laughing at how much of a flog I am
