This is reminding me of Jesper Kyd's soundtrack for Adventures of Batman & Robin on the Genesis, where he somehow turned the soundchip into a techno & industrial beast (like having a NINE MINUTE track for the intro, which is only about a minute long so the intro loops nine times before the music track loops)
