GAMMA is a fun mod, but it’s very far from the essence of the original games. It’s based on Anomaly, with a completely new storyline that’s 100% fanfiction. The mod adds a ton of mechanics and a progression system that didn’t exist in the original. It’s a great sandbox, but the original STALKER games were quite consistent and even linear, while GAMMA is more about grinding and adapting to conditions.
So, I don’t know what to say. Maybe yes, maybe no.
