The New Rebellion was the first EU book I ever read and I loved it. The antagonist and terrorist plot were great. Of course I'm going by my memory as a teen, haven't read the book since so perhaps I have a soft spot for it, but it's what got me hooked into reading more and raiding the local library. This all happened after ROTS just came out so the EU was still a vast ocean of untapped potential and lacking Disney's taint.
