Yeka can make the first and second dungeon easier to navigate due to her skill and spell elements
Lana's healing makes the beginning way more comfortable (it's still useful late game just not as much) only downside is her starting as a Knight (she's better as a Warrior)
Alice has one of the best skills in the game - you can still use Marianne or any other as you party Priest just fine tho
