americans hating mexicans is perfectly natural

when there are 40 million of one group in your country, when said group pretty consistently shows it's ingratitude and loyalty to elsewhere, it's natural to resent them. i think americans are honestly pretty tame in their dislike given the circumstances.

you saw the other week how a few thousand americans caused mexico city caused huge protests there a few days ago, if you know mexicans (as in, ones living in mexico). you'll know that they love to complain that americans "don't integrate into local culture" and "you don't even hear spanish in la condesa or la roma anymore". having been to these places a few times, i can say that they are still 95% mexican, you might hear the odd americans speaking english now and again but it's not really a takeover. if there were large majority-american communities in mexico like mexican ones in america, mexico would turn fascist overnight.
