The great thing about the Shifter limit is that I no longer have to contemplate jamming in the stupid fucking Mannequin Cat into Chaos Hunter line for any deck that can conceivably make a Rank 2
It's funny to think both Shifter and Crossout (in the TCG format after the hype) were initially seen as kinda middling until Tear let the Shifter genie out of the bottle by mandating Shifter's use and decks had efficient enough combos to warrant Crossout respectively
