Sure, but they can use the 1.0 elemental set while you are farming for the new set and even on the new set all you need is crit rate crit damage (even if minimal) That is why I tell everyone to farm the 1.0 elemental sets first with elemental damage% 3 costs. You can put it on any dps and make them work while you farm.

That is why we got mainstat selector. Also, not every echo is built the same. Some are easier to farm than others. You might have trouble farming a 4 cost but have inifinite amount from 1 costs.

I understand that you genuinely believe that what you are saying is for the betterment of the game, but it isn't. If there would be no farming in the game there would be barely any content. If you can just buy a character and not min max it and show your love of them to others so your echoes, than every Carlotta or Zani and so on would feel the same. Being able to farm and min max your echoes part of the game. Also, I don't know if you knew, but you are playing a game with gambling. People here like gambling. Including with echoes.
