Obviously the games have always been influenced by retro 50s but the original games also had other influences. Diesel Punk, Tribal Punk, Mad Max, A Boy and His Dog, even a little cyberpunk. There was a lot going on there artisicly thats been completely lost on the brainlets at Bethesda.
