Nevermind this is all moot, because the review speificially mentions the oldass xmen toys, which means the review happened years after the Cave Troll came out
To prove my case, here's a link to his review that he's linking to. A 2001 review for what was then brand new toys, yet he's referring to it as happening 'long ago" in his Cave Troll review.
