Imagine if he wasn't motivated to simply make things better, but to just trample over everything for revenge too.
Hong Lu seems strong, but doesn't seem to have Shin/mang himself, and clearly has unfinished emotional baggage due to his "black tears" that never stop leaking from the spot where the jade eye used to be at, so he's probably not King kong level, especially since he doesn't even wrap his weapon to hold back.
