I got my license at 16 since it was the "thing you're supposed to do" when I was growing up. It's nice having the option on demand and not being limited to public transport [which sucks in my area] and their destinations. That being said I'm looking forward to the day automated taxis extend their service to my neighborhood. A private cab with no one yapping my ear off while I nap on my way to work would be a dream.
