Anti-Life Equation is something that can be used to give you absolute control over all life. That much is clear. What's confusing is how the equation is applied. Once you know it, do you have to build some device that sends out control rays or something? But somehow just knowing the equation is enough to control people, like telling them it makes them break down in despair or something? I believe the explanation is something like "this equation proves life is meaningless," but it's unclear how that would do anything other than make people bummed out.
