Honestly the last type of fighter I'd want to clone is some tag slop.
Nobody knows what they actually want from them. The audience is fickle and america centered.
On the surface level its just "make everything overpowered" but nailing that isnt easy at all because you need the right amount of extreme offense, defense and especially mobility. And mobility is something modern fighter devs despise.
Then you want to pull the impossible balance act of making tag combo slop palatable for braindead shiteaters who are afraid/incapable of pressing a button when marvel games were pretty much always designed for genre enthusiasts.
