In fighting games, having your back against a corner (or anything similar like walls, holes, danger zone) is a bad situation for the defender and a reward for the attacker.
It basically means you've lost the interaction, have been trapped by your opponent or you put yourself in it. The wall break basically shits on that because it resets to neutral. Sure, the wall breaker gains something but the position is way better than being reseted in neutral with a slight meter buff.
Stages Transitions/Wall Break should only be cinematics like in Fighterz or have a clear advantage like in 3D fighters.
