agreed, it's "there is no such thing as civilization bro" in a game about civilizations

the only non-DEI game is Civilization 5 (Brave New World) & Civilization Beyond Earth: Rising Tide... and maybe Civilization 2 but I played that too long ago
every other game have ham-fisted DEI shoved in it, even the logical ones (e.g. pollution) getting shoved in your face to make a point
go Civ 5, go pure
