Less detail is better for most GW models. Most standard human sized infantry look too clustered now given how small they are, best exanple of this is nu Cadians, the other big issue is all those pouches and straps ruin your scheme, like say you want red fatigues with grey armour, you are going to have a bunch of unwanted leather and netal breaking your schene up when you just want them to be grey and red. This would be even worse with old world troops
