>at a normoids house
>cat does something absolutely retarded and unacceptable right in front of them
>"wtf why didnt you react and discipline them!?"
>"oh you know cats, you cant really teach them anything, you just have to live and let live"
Its absolutely insane that literal billions of people think this is true, they basically just live with entitled bums who constantly tear their shit up and antagonize them for fun(this is of course assuming the cat is lucky enough to have an owner that doesn't do the "outside cat" bullshit)
I bet most of the antisocial spergs on here who shit on cats and say things like "they dont express love or affection" and "they're loud, they tear everything up, and they smell!" are people who formerly owned cats and treated them like that.
It's absolutely insane how different my pets turn out compared to the ones my family gets. My sister's cat is fat as shit, bites and scratches constantly, literally tries to trip people down the stairs, and has to have his own bedroom that he's baited into with treats every night because otherwise he'll rampage around the house and keep everyone awake. I've never once seen her discipline him in any way, "he's just like that"
