I imagine some sort of rapture, I have dreamt about the rapture for years now and about a post-apocalyptic post-christian world. The Hindu religion has texts saying the sun will stop giving light and the moon as well, gnostic texts mention the sun going up into the ether after the last gnostic has departed. There's also mentions of the horrible stuff that will happen later in the future of the Kali yuga and it's so horrible.
