Fishing does indeed still work in the winter, and it will serve as an ingredient of fine meals to improve our colonist's worsening mood due to the cold & lack of proper clothing for it while our tailors works his ass off.

I'm kinda envious of my colony I like fish a lot and a warm plate of fish & rice on the cold winter sounds exceptionally nice right now.
