Make sure you have HDR off on Switch 1 games since most of the time it looks awful. Probably only game that looked awful I have is Agony but that game was downgraded to hell and back and trying to find the right gamma for it is weird on the Switch 1 and 2. Also brightness and auto brightness can affect it too.
