I like ADV bikes, but so many of the fan boys are delusional about the popularity of ADV bikes.
Just from personal experience, the few guys at work that own ADV bikes ride the least out of dozens of riders that ride almost everyday. The live long guys are almost always on a touring bike of some kind.
