Selling onions for a higher inflated price after a record year isnt exactly economic growth. And im sure the peso being propped up with billions they dont have monthly factors into the math...

Inflation isn't dead, it's still 5-10% a month. Thr inflation basket here still includes VCR players and casette tapes. Public transport goes up 5-10% a month and it's cost push inflation on everything else. Bread and other staples are 5% minimum monthly, usually 10%. Restaurants fix their monthly price increases to 5% and have downsized everything and nuked menus of decent cheap items. Most restaurants are dead even on Saturday nights now unless it has LED lighting and a chique look for the whores and their Instagrams.
