At no point did I call Yoru a superior character overall. I said she's the perfected version of Fujimoto's "domineering and irrational" woman.
Makima was obviously more dominant, but I fail to see the "irrational part" in her for 90% of that character's existence.
No one who reads the manga would think that Makima is a "crazy bitch" until the very last confrontations. It's simply not integrated as a part of her personality in the same way as it is in Yoru, with her constant mood swings, abrasiveness, impulsive decision-making, etc.
