We are not getting to 2022 levels ever again unless the manga does a turnaround and becomes peak again. Back in 2021-2022, Chainsaw Man manga ended a phenomenal run, every one was talking about how good the manga was, not only fans but other mangaka's as well and that is what caused the hype. Part 2 has failed to deliver the quality of the second half of part 1. Without that level of storytelling we are not getting the hype back for the manga.

I personally think Mappa will end the anime after successfully adapting part 1. Part 2 has seen a massive decline in sales. An anime for part 2 just wouldn't be financially successful in my opinion.
