Asa and Denji's relationship is what a real relationship is. Both of them have troubled past, both of them act dumb and irrational, especially Asa as she's a woman. Denji has an insane amount of baggage from past trauma and is obviously under a lot of stress. He's been manipulated, abused, borderline tortured. Yet he always remains calm around Asa. He's even been abused and manipulated (via offer of sex) by Asa's devil side.
Again, you don't understand this because you're a tranny that reads fanfics and romcom all day. You don't understand what a real difficult relationship is like.
Now let's look at Yoshida:
He's a complete loner. He doesn't understand women. He thought it's funny to give Denji a whore to fuck but really deep down he felt like a cuck. He really thought he's a fun guy that girls want to be around but girls always get the ick. Asa had a grossed out face and Death straight up rejected him. It's quite sad.

1. Asa was acting stupid. She made completely the wrong call to basically kill herself because she was under a lot of stress since she read Yoru's mind and knows the evil things she intends to do.
2. Denji scared her by smashing a chair against the ground. Of course Asa was frightened because, again, she was under a lot of stress.
3. Denji calmed her down right after.
Again a display of a difficult but fruitful relationship. They'll figure out their problems and beat them in time.
If Yoshida was in any situation with Asa, he would just stare at her like the cuck he is. He can't help Asa. It's the sad truth, tranny. But that's how Fujimoto has written him. Maybe if this was a romcom like in your fantasies and fanfictions, it could go somewhere. But in CSM Yoshida is the villain.
