>"Even without Chainsaw Man, problems get solved" (because someone killed a Tomato Devil equivalent)
>Denji stops being CSM for 5 minutes
>World goes to shit, Devils run amok on the streets, apocalypse is coming, and only CSM's erasing power can fix it
>Yoshida cries about Public Safety being overwhelmed, and then blows himself up
That didn't work out as planned...

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are the ones who create the setting for the apocalypse to happen. First it was Conquest through her megalomaniacal actions in P1 (sparking a global conflict and then bringing Pochita's existence to everyone's attention), then War with what Yoru is doing now (causing the struggle for control/dominance to escalate into all-out war), then likely Famine and Death will follow.
Denji is named after the Japanese word for "angel", and Pochita clearly has some type of divine origin as his followers all bear angelic names. He will be part of the solution.

Sorry but you can't first act like the man is dumb as fuck and a barely functional human being, and then go onto say that he's this mastermind manipulator who's pulling off 4D chess mental manipulation on people that, if they failed, would've gotten him killed.
You can only pick one narrative here, is he a fucking genius, or is he just a fairly dumb guy who means exactly as he says, which is for the girls to get the hell out of dodge and leave him behind?

Stop reading Octopus Man during break weeks. It's not doing any good for your brain.
Denji is, and always will be, the hero and protagonist of the manga "Chainsaw Man".
You've simply never read a story where the hero has a darker side yet still remains the protagonist.
"Fujimoto: If you ask me, don't they basically all have something wrong with them? That's why I prefer the superheroes from DC Comics over Marvel Comics, there's a little more realism to them that I like. Many of them are bearing some kind of sadness and are even depicted as criminals. It's abnormal to have enough power to save someone in the first place, so they can't live ordinary lives. The protagonist of the movie "American Sniper" is a real sniper who was deployed in the Iraq War and honored as a legend, but the enemies called him a devil, and put a bounty on his head. He also felt mentally unwell afterwards but nevertheless went to the front a total of four times, and in the end... When I watch that, I think about how a hero gets back up and keeps fighting no matter what, and I wonder if that's actually such a great thing."
