I guess because Crappa animated both. What made things worse is that the ending of JJK coincided with the Old Age Devil arc, specifically, the later half where the action picked up after months of characters talking, Yoru gained her gauntlets and was shooting shit left and right, and to an outside tourist the manga seemed like your typical people fight shonenslop with weekly dopamine gratification, just like their favorite JJK. So they rushed to speedread it, likely watched the anime first, then quickly binged it up to the latest chapter in a day or two, and then got hit with a terminal case of weekly schedule perplexity, whining how “nothing happens”, especially as the manga slowed back down and wasn’t satisfying their weekly dopamine rush with some ebin action any longer. The biweekly schedule also started getting prevalent exactly at this point which filtered them even harder.
Before this pleb wave showed up, we were having comfy threads and discussions even out of the most glacial events like the aquarium arc or the sushi arc, weekly whiteboards were a ton of fun, wholesome OCs were made, and so on. I see two directions for Yoru's character out of this plan of hers.
The Greed route, Yoru gains some introspection and realizes that she truly yearned for love and acceptance, she steps down from her crazy plan and reaches a healthy compromise with Asa (they could even potentially fuse). This realization could come at the time of her death even.

Or she doubles down even harder on her flaws, she further gives in to her fear of being forgotten and continues to reject her feelings, she may lash out against Asa for causing her to become like this and may even try to kill her, in this case Asa 100% mercy kills Yoru.

I think the former is a bit more unlikely because Yoru is just too evil, the only devil character that got pardoned was Pochita, Power, Nayuta and Angel died for WAY less. Fujimoto is very trigger happy when it comes to his devil characters.

That means the action is probably extended to at least 45m, and there's a big anime-only segment between Sharknado and Denji+Reze falling into the water. Also, Ushio gets to compose while looking at the storyboard or roughs this time, because of the movie's schedule, so there will be a higher degree of customization in the OST.

The problem with Denji is that he's...too uninterested and uninvolved with everything going around him. Back in Part 1 Denji had clearer goals and was more proactive, he was more involved, had people around him that he actively interacted with and cared about...in Part 2 villains are just distant people plotting behind his back to ruin his life and he doesn't care all that much. Asa per example is far more involved with everything going on because the antagonist (Death) actively screwed over her life and interacted, manipulated and used her directly through out the entire story, I would find the story extreme dissatisfying if Denji was the one to deal with her and not Asa, Asa biggest issue is her lack of focus, she doesn't react to stuff she supposedly should.

Part 2 has a strong lack of good protagonist-antagonist dynamic, the reason why Barem and Yoru stand out so much is because they make pretty damn good villains. But even they lack protagonists to oppose them, Asa & Yoru are pretty much a Hero and a Villain in a single package but the story downplays these aspects.
