I just re-watched the entirety of Chainsaw Man season 1 on YouTube because Crunchyroll posted its entire watch party video online.

I usually never watch dubbed anime and vastly prefer subs, but because I love CSM and already watched it in Japanese, I tried watching my first dubbed anime (It was the German dub, btw.)

I'm gonna be honest with you: It was pure kino. Even though it wasn't perfect, it was still solid in many areas and definitely leagues above most anime. Binge-watching certainly made it a lot better than I remembered it. Made me remember why I fucking love Kinosaw Man so much. I fucking love Denji, I fucking love Power, I fucking love Aki, I fucking love Pochita, and I even fucking love Makima. But most importantly: I fucking love Kinomoto for creating this amazing manga.

I just watched the newest movie trailer, and it looks even better than season 1. Pure kinography, even. Fuck it, I fucking LOVE Mappa now too. Can't wait for tomorrow's chapter and for season 2 and Part 2 to be animated now.

I hope both Asa and Yoru will end up coming out unscathed from this predicament, but if push comes to shove, it should be Yoru who receives the short end of the stick. Cutesa has suffered enough already.

My biggest fear is that Kiga will appear and give Denji the ultimatum of choosing between Yoru's or Asa's life. I can see him choosing Yoru in that situation. Let's hope this doesn't happen; it would be the end of AsaDen, and people would forever mock Denji's decision; and that's without even mentioning how that choice would affect Asa's life. Thankfully, I don't see Fujimoto going down that path. Asa will receive her happy ending, together with Denji.

It looks a lot more soulful and true to the manga than Ryu Nakayama's version. This time, it feels like Chainsaw Man.
