Fujimoto 100% paced the manga post-season 1 to be rewarding for the people who'll binge it all after the Reze movie vs the people reading it as it releases. Tatsu just did the same shit with Dandadan and stalling until season 2 started for the pacing to pick up again. I think the endgame of Part 2 (which will probably last until January or so) will be the fastest paced and most exciting chapters of the saga, purely because he was holding out for the explosion of new readers that'll come after the movie. Reze will be back in the manga (just like Evil Eye just came back to Dandadan) and we'll be dealing with a bunch of overpowered bullshit and emotional catharsis for Denji & Asa.

CSM got a sales boost from the anime even despite its middling popularity. Now imagine if it was good. Hopefully the movie does bomb girl justice. If it fails, it will be the most mismanaged anime beating out Kingdom
